Fun Facts Some rare weapons can be seen in use by mobs. When you kill them, you can loot it. Specifically, I'm working the upper war camp (Greece/Epic) for XP and loots. I often see a skeleton with a green glowing weapon, and they always drop an Ether Blade. Ranged mobs can often shoot at and hit you from different elevation, but you can't shoot at and hit them unless your on the same elevation. Especially notable in areas with steps and raised platforms like the upper war camp. You can die (animation and all) and then un-die if you popped a pot at the same instance you died. You probably won't make it, though, 'cause all your pets will be despawned, and you buffs will have to re-applied. You can "re-cycle" relics with poor random stats - sort of... For example, if you assemble three Prometheus' Flames and get a random bonus stat of +STR (and your a caster that doesn't care about STR), you place a SINGLE Prometheus' fragment on a weapon, then apply the completed one with the bad stat, and two fragments will be extracted and applied to the weapon with a new random stat, and you will have one new fragment in inventory. There's supposed to be a thing where the stat is only random if applied to the item one fragment at a time, but I've found them to be completely random, regardless of where they are completed. Fun stuff. Strictly from my own experience, so probably completely wrong.
Top tips....thanks for sharing. I've noticed less blue drops since the patch.....more green but this might just be the Gods of RNG at play. I've abandoned farming as I just want to get to the end on Normal (just about to start chapter 3). I have to say I loved the Egyptian tomb graphics, very atmospheric.
Yes, quick note about the visible appearance of epic/legendary weapons; they can dramatically increase the difficulty of the mob. On regular mobs, this is no big deal. On mini bosses or bosses it can make them much more difficult. That damn Minotaur before the first Telkine was kicking my ass, but the axe he dropped was worth the dozen deaths.
When I wrote this, I forgot to mention that it's a one time deal, and you'll be stuck with it afterwards since it involves actually applying the enchantment to the item. Enchantments, as far as I know, are not reversible. So don't risk it on that insane tweeked green.
Dunno... In fact, it became worse. Back then, when my conqueror is surrounded, he attacks his current target at his regular attack speed and then switches to a different target FLUIDLY when the first one is killed without changing his attack speed intervals. Now, after killing a target, he pauses for about half second before starting to attack the next target. Take note i hold down the attack button, so i know im supposed to be doing my current maximum attack speed.
Interesting, I think on my Avenger he is shooting different targets the same speed as before. Maybe melee is different?
I totally screwed up my first char I went offense as main mastery and then was like leeching life would be sweet and picked soul or wtv and the only life leech in it is one spell where I lose more life casting it then just using potions. I got the char right before the end and decided to reroll as an archer. Anyone think rogue would be decent second for an archer or just stick with something basic like defense?
I heard rogue has all kinds of issues later on because of stuff being immune to poison but I have never tested it myself. Maybe you can check it out and report back? ##
I am not trying to sound like a broken record here but the bugs are really frustrating. I am really enjoying the game but the bugs become even more of an issue in the harder difficulties. I get extremely frustrated after I spend 10 minutes running around a boss picking away at his health only to have the controls go unresponsive for 10 seconds which causes me to die when he is down to low health. Additionally, the active ability keys constant unresponsivness really make multiple builds/skills not viable. We just had a patch a few days ago but it seems that not much was fixed. In some ways, things appear to be worse after the patch.
I didn't start getting the long I responsiveness until the second half of the game and it happened more the further I got. Sometimes I get a wired stutter where I take a step and stop for a second then take a step stop step stop. Also one where she looks like she is hopping it's like two steps at once but overlapping. And then the buttons are unresponsive. And the pause between kills. With the offensive build I put a bunch into dodge and attack speed/off ability and the pause between kills didn't matter too much cause I could just tank the damage between. I feel like it would be a real problem with casting builds that rely on spells when combined with the unresponsive button thing. Other then that the game is perfect! It would be cool if they add multiplayer eventually. Also gives me hope more PC ports will come. Is the nature mastery the one that gives you pets? And when you beat the game on normal can you start a game on hard with any char or do they all have to beat each difficulty?
Havent played the new patch and im not able to test it in a while but i have a question: Is the game broken and bugged with the new patch?
