Yep, thanks. That's what I indicated in my initial post that I am doing. It's not happened again since, fortunately, but at least I know how to break out of it.
Big bug: traps don't always attack. Decided to make a trap brigand and went rouge and traps right away (level 5). Have 2 points in it and it's interesting as it makes traps an active skill, ie, you throw one out whenever you are attacking and they are off cool down. However, half the time they don't attack the bad guys. If one is out and it doesn't attack, more thrown out won't attack either. They will only attack when you let all active ones die off and throw a new one out. Makes traps completey unplayable.
Class Guides, Please Could someone please point me to a class guide for Conjurer? I found the one pasted below, but he seems to have stopped, short of the one I need. http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/928126-titan-quest/faqs/45898 Good guide for assassin, conqueror, corsair, etc, though.
I played this game 4 years ago on PC, I remember bow skill combine with cold/ lighting is the best choice for farming without energy
clarification to avoid confusion, last i checked the pc version does not support controllers. the devs have a poll up right now where folks can vote on what they want added to the pc version, controller support is on that list. poison is also fun for kiting bosses
True, though in the context of the discussion here -- touch screen vs physical controls -- I'd say keyboard and mouse counts as physical controls. For me personally it feels like a really big compromise playing action games like this with touch controls. Even ignoring the bugs, no matter how much I practice I never can get as reliable using a virtual d-pad and lots of virtual buttons compared to using physical controls, whether it's keyboard/mouse or controller.
Thanks for sharing, but I'm in the same boat as you. I selected Spirit first so I'm on the Conjurer or Oracle path I guess, neither of which he ever got around to. Edit: I'm leaning toward oracle and am having some luck reviewing this page via the Wayback Machine (circa 2010): http://www.titanquest.net/forums/spirit/9479-oracle-build-compendium.html I assume you can find other builds on that site via the archives.
The one thing that drives me crazy in these games is finding awesome blue / green loot then realizing its for another class. Without the shared chest I cant give it to my other guys #
Funny thing about that site... I always end up on a "cyberstar sites" page with nothing on it. Wether I click your link, or follow a google link. I wonder if there's a trick I'm missing.
I'm starting to think that the game intentionally gives more off-class loot to encourage coop play (which of course doesn't work with this port). I got frustrated playing my conjurer (because I was always looking for caster gear and fire staves) and rolled a new melee DPS warfare toon, and all he gets is caster gear.
Right but I'm accessing the link by entering it on the wayback machine (google that) site, ie internet archived page. Go to the 2010 version of the page. There's a10 page thread on Oracle. I'm sure this works for all the site's threads. I'll at least post the Oracle guide when I'm back at my computer.
Is it me or do some of the side quests seem to be broken? I searched and opened everything I could find on every square inch of that beach for the shipwreck side quest and cannot get it.
It's not broken Spoiler You have to turn left right as you exit the village and enter the beach. Keep going left as far as you can and it's there
Thanks for the tip on this. I have been trying to figure out a way to read that thread for the last few days.
Believe me, I've done that. Every inch of the beach and even come across the piles that say "wreckage". Still not registering.
There is no actual "wreckage" to click. It's just a wrecked boat with some of those spirit enemies by it. Once you kill all the spirit enemies (weak all the way out into the water and the boat to spawn them all) it accomplishes the quest. Then you can go back and turn it in to the npc
