Percent Damage If I have an item than is "xx% Bleeding Damage", does that only matter if I am applying bleeding damage from another source? If so, I'm thinking that %damage items are specific to classes. xx% fire damage would only be useful for someone who does mostly fire damage.
Could you mod a weapon for me or a save game? So i start with a better one but the progress is faster. Ive got a roll back
Class Guides So... I was reading through a class guide for assassins on another web sight. Mention was made the "weapon honing is a great skill for only 8 points if you plan to stay with swords for a while...." This made me wonder - where the heck are all the swords? I played Lvl 1-10 about six times until I stuck with the toon I'm playing now (Lvl 26 assassin), and I have yet to see a sword that is worth melting down for scrap, much less actually swing at beasties. I've had really good axes since the get go. So the question is - What will I likely be DWing around Lvl 40? Axes, swords, or clubs? I know I'd like to have the ying/yang set, but drops being what they are, who knows.
Yep. Looks like they raised it a buck. So has anyone heard whether DotEmu is planning an update for framerate optimization, hopefully more responsive controls and the save issues? Guess they never frequent TA threads.
I'm playing as a lvl 20 worrior (haven't chose second mastery) and I've only found about 8 swords that I actually used over the tons of axes I've gotten. Also had an epic sword on my old character that was only lvl 10 but I messed that one up so had to restart.
I generally go with one fast sword to get more dual wind procs and in my off hand anything with massive damage lol
Oh yea, it's not that they can't kill anything. It's that they either take too long to do it or go through potions like nobody's business. Compare this to a caster with a pet who will breeze through the same mobs. At least at level 10-15ish I also dump the majority of points in mastery at the beginning Oh and i love this game as well
Really irritated with the save rollback, ruined my motivation to play this game. It seems like a great game but I will give the port 3/5 because there are just too many technical issues. Won't be playing until the rollback bug is fixed :/
A ####ing joke? You increased the game for a buggy game wich has several performance issues and roll backs? Shame on you...
Damn. Price increase. I am still definitely getting Titan Quest once I clear some of my backlog, and I really don't begrudge DotEmu for putting up the price - it's still a bargain - but I wish I'd known it was a launch sale.
I was lucky enough to not lose any level and I had finally beaten the game on normal mode (lvl 32 hunter), with every inch of the maps explored; I've had many crashes and controls were buggy as hell especially in the first chapter, but nevertheless this is the best hack'n'slash game so far coming to iOS imo
Preformance I've really been enjoying the game. Despite its flaws, I'd rather live in a world WITH Titan Quest as it is, than live in a world without it. That being said.... I got really frustrated earlier this morning. I was fighting Barmanu at the top of Tsongmo peak. He's the one that cast stun followed by a devastating meteor strike. His casts WOULD be easy enough to avoid if only my toon would do what I tell it to. The general unreponsiveness of the controls, coupled with the need to triple and even quadruple tap skills to get them to fire made for MANY trips up that dang mountain befor Barmanu was eventually vanquished. Understand that this is entirely a control issue. I haven't experienced too many Preformance issues - I'm playing on an Air 2 - and I never play away from my WIFI, so I havn't had any of the afore mentioned roll-back issues. It's the interface and its lack of response I'm having the biggest issue with. Love the game! Glad to have gotten it for $6.99, but still worth it at $7.99
Must admit am pleasantly surprised that my old iPad Air can knock a game like this out with such good performance. I did a reboot straight after install and deleted most other games first after combing comments. If they can get Titan Quest running like this I wonder if Diablo 2 may be possible. Had given up on ever playing a good dungeon crawler on iPad. And yup, £5 is a steal for this.
I havent finished yet (on the last chapter of normal) and i agree with everything said here, as such is my experience as well.
