You mean a floating dpad - the centre point resets every time you put your finger back on the screen. Doubt it would work very well here though - there's too many on screen buttons/toggles that would get in the way. I'm surprised by this though - can't say I've experienced this problem.
I'm so glad this is finally out, as I never got the chance to play it before. I'm on mini 2, and haven't had any stuttering or crashing, at least so far. I did restart my device before playing. As some fellow TouchArcadians' have said before, there seems to be an issue with button tap recognition, but it only happens to me when trying to talk to an NPC. Anyway, thank you DotEmu, for bringing a full-fledged arpg to our hands. And such a bargain as well, I was expecting it to be at least 10. If you have any love for Diablo-like games, then this is a no-brainer. And Greek mythology is just cool
People are writing the opposite because that is their experience, it is perfectly possible for you to be experiencing stuttering and for other people not to be. It's a universal app, people are playing in different devices, not everyone is having the same experience. I am playing on my Air 2 and have had no trouble at all with it. Why not just report your experience and give your feedback and leave it at that?
4 out of 5 so far I played for a bit and I must say this is a very good game. Never played the PC version. The only things I dislike are the controls are a bit funny and sometimes in battle my character will stop fighting to pick up dropped loot. Mfi support would be nice...
No stuttering? It doesn't run smooth at all on my mini 2. Even after rebooting my device. Playable? Yeah.. Fun? Yes!! Smooth FPS? No way. :/
Oh wow, that's weird. The game really runs smoothly on my device. I didn't do a long session though, so I don't know how it behaves when it heats up. I haven't noticed any stuttering at all, but as I said, I played a short session. Maybe it gets worse the longer you play?
I've had no crashes and the framerate isn't bad for me on my mini 2. It's just the controls -- specifically the v-stick that are not responsive enough and sometimes not responsive at all for a second or two.
Funnily enough I've just had my first bout of major lag....game became unplayable and had to force quit out. (IPad Air 2 latest iOS) I had been playing for over an hour solid, I'm level 6 on the Sparta map. Most of it uncovered. The lag occurred just after I'd gone into the map view and zoomed out. Didn't seem to like that at all. Could there be memory leak issues?
Does anyone know if knossos greece is the last city in the entire game? I dont want to go through all the content too quickly.
I just had to post because of all the crashes people are reporting. I am using an ipad mini 2 with ios 8 and played for 4 hours last night and 1 hour this morning and have not had a single crash or any lags. The only bug I noticed was when you goto pick up and item and don't move you character then continue to fight it work know attack unless you move off the spot where you picked the item up. Nothing major just something I noticed that needs fixed. On another note I have never played Titan Quest I am LOVING it. I have spent so much money these last couple months looking for something to get me so immersed. It's so much fun and the hours are flying by without notice.
Done. Everything else done by you. You can count yourself lucky then on your ipad air 2.....must be a true magical device, that interpolates a bad engine code of the game. wow!
I don't think the iPad 4 is supported at all. It will run on your iPhone 6 and sounds like any framerate issues are not device specific.
Make sure to quit any 'background' apps as well as websites... Not sure if it'll help but can't hurt! I know my wife leaves about 8 pages up on her web browser. And I can tell when she does, I have to close them then reboot before running games. Also under 'Settings -> Background App Refresh' may want to experiment with that. I'm on oldest version of iPhone 6 with latest iOS and seems to run fine- I think people's interpretations of 'smooth' fps varies greatly Great game really enjoying it. Can't seem to resume game on different device tho- is this a cloud save issue or am I just not doing something right
Mini 4 here, I see people complaining about theirs but I am not having any problems, have not noticed framerate issues and have only crashed a couple times. No idea why my mini 4 is a special snowflake.
