I am on an iPad pro 128 gig Wi-Fi plus cellular and it runs like a dream no slowdown issues no crashing I probably have about six hours into it
Less humour, less (I feel) customization, more realistic, more loot, gorgeous graphics & different controls. Will last you at least five times as long though.
I'd be in total agreement with all the praise here if the controls, particularly the v-stick, had better response. The UI is very well done and not having too much graphical lag and not a single crash on my iPad Mini 2. But the responsiveness of the stick in particular has to be improved. It's not quite a game killer but bad enough to make me not enjoy this as much as I had hoped.
Played during initial release on PC and picked it up again through a steam sale a couple of years ago. Have easily over 100 hours played. Downloaded this as soon as it came out and have played a few hours on both a 6S and iPad Air and haven't experienced any issues on either device. Extremely impressed with what dotemu have achieved here.
Great buy! I love this game. The controls get a little clunky when you're standing in a loot pile but it certainly isn't game breaking. Instabuy!
Yes there is. You can buy back skills from the mystic. But iirc, only skills. Not the masteries like hunter, defender etc
I picked Spirt as my first mastery, and unlocked the skill "ternion attack". It appears to be an autocast spell that turns your staff's projectile into 3. The problem is that it burns through my mana really quick, and I can't seem to figure out how to turn it off. Even using the default attack button uses ternion attack instead of my basic attack. The result is that I never have any mana, which sucks. Does anyone know if there's a way to toggle this?
Ok, so I bit the bullet and bought - figured I could always return it if problems arise. So far, so good(ish) though - at least no crashes in the last 1hr+ whilst running on iPad Air with 8.3....fingers crossed. That said, framerate stutters at times and I wouldn't call it smooth scrolling but it's bearable and playable. Could do with some more optimisation and maybe some gfx setting options to lower detail levels etc? Certainly worse when there's a lot on screen - enemies or collectables with description boxes showing. Also, v-stick control needs some attention. At times its a little unresponsive - but the worst bit is when you try to move a small amount and it moves you 3-4 steps too far. Where's the precision? I understand it's probably part of the port from mouse control to touchscreen but surely it can be more precise than that? Lastly, really frustrating when you try to slash at enemies only to start running between the various items in the surrounding vicinity. Either the context sensitive button needs to be more intelligent or there needs to be an option to only pick up items by tapping on the description window instead. Very frustrating (and slightly embarrassing) when you go charging in to the fray, swinging your spear wildly, only to suddenly run off at a tangent and start switching between pickups on the floor like an indecisive kleptomaniac magpie....or my other favourite, once again running round like the aforementioned magpie and unable to loose an arrow at the rapidly approaching enemy, only to be hit for 28 whilst you decide to pick up a rather natty pair of wool bracers, 6 levels worse than the ones you're currently wearing.... ....and then there's the inventory issue - it's as big as my daughters nursery bag for a start and optimisation of both the space and placing to maximise available space is atrocious. Maybe not so much of an issue with a mouse but very frustrating micromanaging loot and armour etc. But apart from all that, still fun so far but already a little grind heavy and I've only been to the first village and just beyond. Would definitely recommend but with caveats - hopefully DotEmu will look to iron things out in the coming weeks.
After a crash on my iPad I lost at least 3 hours of gameplay and 2 hero levels. Didn't lose the progress entirely but for some reason took me back some hours
Bought this game and startimg to get dissapointed, first of all it feels like it has low frames even on ipad mini 4. Also im completly lost i reached the first village i went south died twice and went east and died twice i have no idea what im doing and i keep dying....
Have anyone succesfully force install this on device that is not compatible such as the iphone 5? If there is, pls pm me a guide, thx
It runs pretty well on my iPhone 6 with occasional stuttering. My issue is the interface. How do you use skills? I chose the hunter mastery and for the life of me I can't figure out how to activate my marksmen skill. It says it cost 2 energy to use, but so far there has been no indication that I've used it. I've tried pressing all kinds of buttons. I'm wondering if it's a passive skill.
So the intent for that attack is to replace your basic, but if ou want to not use it for that yet until you get more energy just hold the little circle underneath the basic attack button. That sets what skill you want to be cast when you use the main attack button. Same as setting any other skill.
It's been a long time since I played vanilla Titan quest... Is there no stash? Do I have to hold any items in my inventory use them or throw them away?
