The difference between ITunes and Ifunbox..as far as I can see is : For 1> when I try to install a game that does NOT run on my IPAD 4 through ITUNEs or the app store (is there a difference between what you can download on the app store an actual ITUNES?) it will not even allow me to start the download and will tell me that the app is not compatible with my device. 2>Apparently, according to the quite helpful people here on the forums..IfunBox will allow me to still download that app even if not "compatible" with my device(I guess in part because its DLing to my PC?)...in the hopes that..Since it IS an IPAD 4..which in TQ's case is RIGHT below the minimum required to play the game..the game will still allow me to download and play the game, although, it may not run perfectly, completely smooth, or may be a little (here's hoping) or ALOT...laggy. Is this approximation correct?
IfunBox ? So, I have a PC, an IPAD 4, and the app store/ITUNES. I assume I just look up "IfunBox" on google and download it to my PC..then through the IfunBox I would download the Titan Quest game onto my PC? Then Sync my PC and IPAD 4, yes? Is that about it? Thanks again for all the help! Sid
Itunes Hrm..after thinking about this, I am wondering...why would it NOT allow me to just DL TQ through ITunes if I am doing so on my PC? If going through my PC, the app should not be able to tell what type of device I will be later using it on...right? Unless through the sync the "IPAD 4" information is enclosed therefore alerting said apps as to what device they are intended to be used upon?
Looks like this is going to be a simultaneous worldwide release, I wonder when they're going to push the button.
They said under 10. Now that could be 9.99 or 4.99. Who knows. I think it's probably going to be like 10 bucks since they've been working on it forever and it's s pretty well known game. I asked on Twitter but haven't heard back
In 4 hours it will be 12:00 AM May 19 in Paris, where Dotemu is located, so maybe the release it then?
Exactly. Downloading apps to the PC via iTunes and then installing them to your device is standard. So what's the advantage of using ifun box if your doing the same thing?
Ofc you will download the game and therefore the needed IPA file through iTunes (AppStore) on your PC. The game is usually saved as an IPA file in your "Music" folder. Then you open iFunbox, select "install IPA file", select the saved IPA file and then it will install it on your connected device regardless if it is compatible or not. iTunes itself >won't< let you install it on your iPad4 because it's not compatible, just like the AppStore on your device.
If we look at the time they released Pang Adventures, which was also a simultaneous worldwide release, then it would indicate this should hopefully arrive at around 8:30-9:00PM ET or at least that's about when the thread was started here.
It's 22:30 in Paris! Do games get released at 00:01 when it's meant to be released on a specific day or does Apple eventually get around to it sometime during the day? I've never waited for an app to drop before :/
I am pretty sure all of their releases pop around evening worldwide. But I think with the App Store like it is, they manually have to pull the trigger. They posted to Twitter a little while ago saying it's gonna be here tomorrow.
Dear DotEmu, You know what sucks? Staying up after midnight to get a game, that is "released on the 19th" even if the next day is a work day. Just to see it not being released. Yours truly, Lee PS: Also come and get my money.
