So nobody knows if this will ever come to Apple TV Speaking of which Apple TV video game support is so lousy I am so surprised and disappointed that more developers are not making games for this TV thing
Considering that right now, all Apple TV games have to be playable with the remote, I wouldn't hold my breath for an ATV port. If Apple ever loosens that restriction, who knows? Diablo III plays just fine with a controller.
No IPAD 4 support!? I can't believe this isn't going to run on an IPAD 4 ! I am sooooo disappointed. I wish I would have known this 6-8 months ago and wouldn't have obsessed over this for all that time...man...damn.
Try to install it through iFunbox to bypass device restrictions? Not sure if it will run smoothly though.
Anyone else think this will release right at midnight?? I don't have a Twitter account and don't want to make one but if anyone could ask dotemu on there that would really be awesome.
41 minutes ago they tweeted it was coming tomorrow. So prolly around normal release time it should be up.
Same here. I have an iPad mini 1 so I'm out of luck. And I'm not sure if it's work playing Titan Quest on the iPhone 6, just because of small screen feeling cluttered.
Need to be jailbroken to force install apps though don't you? And yes it works with both iOS 8 & 9 - I run both and it works fine afaik. You need the original ipa file though and possibly a file conduit tweak? It's been a while since I used it though so may be wrong about the tweak, can't quite remember.
Nope, I just started up my notebook and tried to install a IPA file with iFunbox on my iPad Air 2, which has worked like a charm. No problems here. As far as I know, they only blocked viewing the file system on any given app, so you cant backup your savegames manually. I cant test if it still bypasses device restrictions though because I dont own any app which requires something higher than an Air2, but I dont know why this shouldnt work anymore. I guess it will work as expected. People had force installed Monster Hunter on their non jailbroken iPad2 back in the days. Hmm, I'll try to find an app which requires something better than my iPhone 5...can anyone tell me which game requires at least an iPhone 5S and cant be installed on an iPhone 5? Edit: Epic Zen Garden isnt compatible with iPhone 5. I was able to install it through iFunbox just fine. Wasnt able to start it as it crashed right away to due the requirement of an 64Bit Metal enabled device. Now that you are indeed able to install TQ on your iPad 4, the real question is: is it a Metal based game? If yes, it most likely wont run, even if you bypass device restrictions.
Ok, well there is hope...buuuut Great, I am willing to try this, but I have no idea what this "Ifunbox" thing even is that you guys are talking about. Where do I get this? Do I need jailbreak for it? (If so I won't be jail breaking #) Is this just an app I download from the App Store or what? Thanks in advance! Sid
What's the difference between installing the ipa using iTunes or ifun box? Either methods puts the file on your device and it's a matter of the app being compatible with the device to run it right?
