Thanks for your questions! 1. iPhone technically works on my end, but I've only got an iPhone 4 which runs hilariously slow, and the UI resolution totally doesn't fit yet. Once I get hold of some more recent devices and optimise the UI, I'll add support for iPhone. It's coming, but it'll take some time. 2. Unfortunately iPad 4 has not been tested as again I do not own these devices. I did however test TinyKeep on the iPad Mini 1 (A5 cpu) and while playable it is quite laggy. Just checked iPad 4 specs, it's an A6X cpu so might work after all. If you find you are having performance issues let me know and I'll update the description accordingly. Sorry for all this, I'm still getting used to the Apple device family! 3. No MFi controller support as of yet. Is this in heavy demand? Much appreciated guys!
Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll wait a little while, I don't have space on my device as is to install the game right now with Transistor and Her Story taking up so much room!
iPad 2 has an A5 processor, which is the same as the iPad Mini 1. Tests shows poor framerate so I'm afraid I can't recommend this. Sorry!
Just tried it on an iPad4 and it's very playable. Not super smooth but I wouldn't call it 'lagging'. Since I'm only a few levels in it could of course be that I haven't experienced a seriously busy scene yet. Up till now I'm enjoying it very much. The port works very well, though the first thing you get to see is the 'click left mouse button' icon next to the "Begin your daring escape..." text, which is kind of disconcerting. I imagine it wouldn't take a lot of effort to remove the icon and Change the text to "Tap anywhere to begin your daring escape...". But other than this very first thing you see, I hardly notice it's a port from the PC.. Now, back to the dungeon
Haha, you're absolutely right! By habit I always skip the dungeon quote and go directly to the main menu - so I never see that. Apologies for the that slipping through the net. I will add that to the list for the next version.
This looks very cool! I'm guessing this is the same as the latest steam build, yeah? Can't wait for it to appear on the NA store.
A few small differences to keep the performance but generally speaking its pretty much the same game! Thanks! Phi
Not at this time, we wanted to keep the game mechanics to just the perks/buffs that you can purchase from the shrines. There's quite a variety of them, especially at later levels which allow you to do some pretty crazy stuff.
I don't know what it's doing, stuff just isn't getting pulled from the store. I've tried to fix it, will try more things tomorrow morning.
Thanks for looking into it! I've noticed a few other games with similar issues as well - hope you find the solution, or at least are able to add entries manually.
