Wait till ya get too the bit were you have to get too island 4 without using any dips took me ages too get that one
Hummm. It's funny but I have had some really good runs while completing some of the wackier achievements. I think my upside-down run was my high score for a bit. So does anyone know yet what the max multiplier is? What's the cap?
OMG. Give me your UK add Howlingwolf, I'm visiting so you can play that one for me. I think it ends at nest 9. Do your math. I'm too tired to think right now.
Alright I bought it. I agree with the lack of retina not being a problem at all. I don't think the addition would spoil it, but the game looks so charmingly fluffy without it anyway it's not worth the developer's time putting it in. I would like to see unlockable birds though, perhaps even birds with different abilities. I get the feeling some people won't agree and might insist the simplicity is what makes it charming, but hey, if they're optional just don't use 'em. More content can't hurt sales. I'd also like to see more on the landscape. I can't think off the top of my head of anything you could interact with, but background scenery at the very least would be awesome. Perhaps on a big jump you could fly over a tiny village. Maybe add some hot air balloons to the sky, boats in the water between islands, Roman ruins... anything to make the game look prettier and the area more alive. It's great as it is but I hope we get lots of juicy content updates in the future. I'd love to see it expand.
I gave them a heads up, before it broke, so they are probably too busy playing it to post about it yet.
Just managed too get my top spot back with a score of 149, 495 just can't get the last two objectives
Just got the reach island 5 without any fever goal and upgraded my nest and now all the achievements are about cloud touching. Sweet!!
once again i want to say thank you for all your positive feedbacks. it's amazing to read how much you like my game. What a honor! more unlockable content would be cool for sure... i will take all your suggestion for further updates, which are coming of course. @Howlingwolf... what? you completed the 26x score mulitiplier? i thought the objectives were hard to fulfill! It was a not so easy process to find the right balance for the objectives not to beeing to easy nor to hard. hey, then i have to add more nest levels thanks for all of you who bought the game!
thanks for posting on the board. we take great pleasure knowing that youre listening to our praise and complaints. congrats on the release. im sure its going to be recognized for a long time. edit: i want to go higher than the clouds....i mean, way higher. please include in update.
Game Impressions When I saw the icon on Appshopper, I couldn't resist to buy the game. So far, it's an happy purchase The bird is cute and the art is really well done. At the beginning, I had problems with the gameplay but after some tries, I succeeded to reach the clouds, entered in fever mode and saw the 5th island. The "one day, one background" is a pretty nice feature, I totally enjoy the idea each time I launch the game. The in-game achievements are a nice adding too, I'm trying to unlock the objectives when I'm playing Thanks to the dev, I'm looking forward to the updates.
I like the idea of being able to fly into the clouds, but I defnitely don't think the bird should bounce off of the clouds. I would say remove the upper boundary and allow the bird to keep flying if possible. It was actually quite startling and saddening when I hit and bounced off the clouds, it brought me out of the game and made me realize that it is just a program, which is a bad thing. Basically, I was fully immersed in the game, but hitting the clouds broke the immersion. I really, Really, REALLY, LOVE THIS GAME!
same here. it actually messed up my run. i didnt expect to be bounced back down to the ground. hopefully we get to soar so high we can see stars and planets. like dolphin olympics.
Caved to all the pressure... Great game, added a review in iTunes as well. Look forward to seeing you on TA more, Andreas!
