I would like to see a ghost mode, where you can see your best scores and compete with it in real time
Latest nest and thoughts on update So the newest nest Objectives: -Reach the 9th island -Fly through the 4th island in fever mode -Do 20 [Cloud touches] not being in fever mode Also there are some technical and aesthetic notes on the update. I dig the newest statistics, as well as the real time fever mode counter (though I tend not look down in the left corner, sort of a jinx thing). The title loading screen also got a small touch up, moving the "Loading..." from the center to the far right. My main complaints are with the Game Center update. I'm not a leaderboard type of player, and as such I don't login to any of the related services. The login popup with every start of the game is an annoyance, particularly because it always causes a partial hang in loading. Also, the "Island fell asleep on" or whatever it was called was removed from the end game statistics. I don't know about others, but I often don't pay attention to the island I'm on, and my memory is short enough that I often looked down at it to know where I ended up. It's new exclusion is puzzling. I've also noticed quite a bit more stutter and lag after this update. I keep my iPhone processes rather clean and clear, so I'm am pretty certain this isn't phone related. Perhaps I am just more sensitive to these lags and stutters as my skill level has improved, though. In all, I am happy for the new nest and achievements (finally hit 177k an hour before the update hit, so it was almost like a nice little prize). 9th island is an easy one, but the other two are incredibly difficult. Should keep me in the game for a good while longer. Enjoy!
nest is really hard. YES! got to reach 9th island 20 cloudtouches without fever mode and the fourth island one.
Got the update and dont have the urge to play anymore. Guess I need to take that demand out of my sig.....
Agree that could be soooo gooood, you versus your ghost, trying to top your best score. I want this feature Andreas!
Fly through the whole island in fever mode? THE 4th island that's the least possible island to land on in fever mode to begin with?? Due to the steepest entry hills, being always on the 4th island??? Is this intentional cruelty or just an oversight on the dev's part?
My game wasn't syncing with Open Feint. I couldn't get it to come online at all. So Game Center was showing 0 achievements even though I had done almost all of them. I logged out of Game Center and reinstalled Tiny Wings, but I still cant get Open Feint to connect. I guess I could just do everything all over again. I kind of have to, now that I reinstalled it. I'm back to the first nest. This is frustrating.
The new objectives for the new nest are so ridiculously hard, well except for reaching the 9th Island, that's cake. Anyone here come close to pulling the other two off yet?
well to be honest i thought the x26 multiplier challenges were hard. and now these challenges are gona be pretty much impossible...i've never even made it to the 9th island so...
9th island and fever mode through 4th island are no problem... but any hints on getting 20 cloud touches without fever mode?
Ugh, finally got the 34s in fever mode achievement and the game crashed. I got to the next nest but the stats page doesn't have the time and no achievement was recorded anywhere.
I'm having issues with it syncing my current achievements with GameCenter. I really don't mind starting over though cuz I love this game :-D EDIT: It's working now. I just had to get a new achievement before the rest of em loaded in. On next level 9 now!
5x great slide after island jump I saw at least one other guy with this problem, but nobody seems to have acknowledged it. Just like the other guy, I can't seem to get the 5x great slide after island jump challenge, Aka the perfect flow achievement. I have completed it several times but did not get credit. It seems to be bugged. I tried getting 5 great slides in a row after the island jump, and I also tried getting 1 great slide after an island jump 5 times in one game because the wording is kind of ambiguous. Neither has worked, so I hope this gets fixed soon because it's stopping me from getting the next nest. Great game btw, I hope you keep supporting it with bug fixes and updates!
