Your first jump on an island has to be a perfect one. Do this 5x during a game and you should get the objective. That said, I can usually never get a perfect first jump on Island 4 (slopes are too tiny and close together in the beginning of it) and then it's too late to make up for this. Also is it just me or does the daily random generation of terain not affect the beginning parts of islands much? I was hoping that on a different day I'd be able to do this objective due to a changed terrain but really the starting slopes of the islands seem to remain the same?
I just wish the clouds didn't act like a false ceiling. It completely ruins my arc when you hit the top of the clouds.
Final comment. The dev better get on the ball if he wants to be the next Angry Birds. People are going to give up soon if an update w/ more content doesn't come out soon! Just saying...
I figured it would. Well, that sucks. Tiny Wings, as good as the game is, fails in the same way so many iOS games do, by supporting only one profile.
+1, but the problem is also with GameCenter, and that's Apple's fault. I really hope that iOS 5 has system-wide GC profiles that are easy to switch between, like on the Xbox, and with that should come separate saves as well.
Patience is virtue. It's only one fella. I'm sure he is working hard fixing the issues people have found, or maybe he's just taking a break and is trying to relax in preparation for a very different life (supporting this and building bigger/better games hopefully).
I agree. For the iPhone, such laziness is understandable, though still not ideal. For a coffee table iPad or iTouch, it sucks. Devs can choose to support multiple saves/profiles themselves, though it is more work. A unified solution like Live or PSN would be simpler for everyone.
I too want updates and more content, but PopCap seems to do just fine using the 'never update' model, to give a counterpoint.
I love this game. My boyfriend is obsessed with it. I have a problem with it, though - it crashes whenever I receive push notifications eg. text messages, Twitter etc. Will wait for an update or two in the future. ^^
LOL, I agree, I don't think I have ever had a better return on a $1 spend. Even though I have finished all the achievements I still fire it up a few times a day just to to try and better my highest score or hopefully get to island 9. I'm not really interested much in all the new content suggestions, for me the beauty of Tiny Wings is its simplicity and would be happy with just an eventual bug fix update to remove the occasional stutter which is the about the only glitch I have experienced that occasionally impacts the game.
Just download the game and I have to say that the gameplay is insanely addictive I hope to see future updates even though releasing frequent and consequent updates for a single developer can be quite time consuming..
