People are suggesting these things because they would liven up a fairly bland game. At a minimum, we need new modes, Retina, unlockables, and maybe some additional characters with new abilities.
I have a minor problem - not so much a bug but annoying at times. The game seems to lag (just a little) when I reach the clouds...and I'm pretty sure my device isn't running anything else but the game (this is iPhone 3GS 16G). Does't hurt my love for the game, but it did cost me a few games that I was sure I could break my record!
It's a fantastic game for 99 cents, nay for several dollars more than that. However, the game is indeed bland compared to what it could be with some additional TLC. I think our developer friend could (and probably will) support this thing for awhile to come.
The amazing attraction of this game for me is the change of the nest and the unpredictable colorful game scenes. Now I have only reached the forth island, but I cant get over for a long time and I begin to lose interest.
I like the game, art style, simplicity, ect. It's well thought out touch screen mobile entertainment. My only gripe? Wtf is up with the difficulty level once you get to x16 multiplier? I was cracking over 60-70k+ on scores up until this point and now I can't even break 40k.
Bland? What the hell have you been playing? Retina is fair enough, though it doesn't bother me on a 3GS. As for the other things, absolute rubbish. We're not talking about some crap FPS game or something? New abilities? Like what? The ability to fly? Unlockables? What could you unlock that'd possibly make the game better? The game works so well because it's so simple. Start adding unnecessary stuff to it and it gets worse and worse, not better. Sometimes less is more, yah?
Have anyone done the objective "Do 5x perfect jumps directly after an island jump" ? I have done 5 perfect jumps several times and 6 perfect jumps once in the same game but i still can't get the objective done. I am doing it wrong or is it bugged?
I think the idea for powerups we came up with in this thread were a tad more thoughtful than random Call of Duty style powerups strewn all over the level.
Can two players use same Touch? I've been playing it and loving it. Got to x24 then hit a wall with the "reach 4th island without perfect jumps". Anyway, wife wants to play, and understandably wants to start at x2 or whatever it begins at. She can change her name for the local high score table, but of course it still shows x24. What does "Reset Game" do, exactly? Because I don't want to lose my own progress... (Sorry if this has been asked already in this long thread. The TA search function wouldn't let me search for keywords inside this thread only.)

The game completely died for me when i got to 26x. I can't get the objective "5x: Do 1 perfect jump directly after an island jump" I have tried doing 5 perfect jumps in a row after an island jump as well as doing 1 perfect jump on each island for 5 islands in a row. None of them gives me the achievment. Either it is bugged or i'm not understanding the description correctly. Either way i am not starting this game again until this is fixed or someone can explain how it's supposed to be done. Any developer here? Would be lovely with an explanation. Surely i can't be the only one not getting past this?
