@ Osujxu: You have to touch the screen once you get to the top of a hill so you don't get any air. Do that basically every time, and stuff up the landing for island transition. @ nikhsterboi: Just make sure you mess up after getting 2 awesome jumps. Just got 204209, island number 8.
I did this achievment today. What worked for me was going like a rollercoaster. Release when going downhill and touch before it reaches the top of the hill. Repeat this every time, also try to get as many speed coins as posible. Now i have to be in fever mode 34 seconds, this seems hard. Maximun fever i had was 32 seconds and was hard to do. Anyone can drop me a tip???
I took it extremely slow and tried to get it out of the way on island 1. I got to fever and would slowly go down hills (no folding your wings) so I wouldn't mess it up by flinging myself great distances. I'm on 26x multiplier and need help getting to the 8th island, as well as 750,000 points.
Tips for getting to the 8th island: - Use speed coins whenever possible. - Aim for valleys that are more horizontal rather than vertical. Those will launch you further and cover greater distances. - You don't need to great slide each valley, but you must make sure not to hit a hill at the wrong angle and lose momentum. I'm still working on the 5x great slide out of island jump and 175k point achievements. What a great game.
Guys, any idea how exactly the "score multiplier" works? It surely doesn't multiply your overall score, or else on a 60k run (my typical run so far) I'd end up with 22x that, which isn't the case. So what does it multiply? Thanks!
The points you get from eating those coins / sunlight + bonuses when you do a perfect slide . I think .
A coin is worth 3 points, a great slide is worth 10 points and a cloud touch is worth 20 points so if you are on a 22x multiplier they are worth 66 points, 220 points and 440 points. If you are in fever mode then you also get double points so they would be worth 132, 440 and 880 points.

I don't think so, as far as i can tell they are purely score related. I think the night moves at a constant rate and your speed and distance covered is the deciding factor, like orbiting the planet if you go fast enough you can stay ahead of the sun.
Sorry if it has already been covered (I must have missed it) but what exactely have I have to do in order to upgrade a nest when it says play upside down and reach island 5? Looking dumb I tried to play with the iPhone upside down in every position, I reached island 5...but nothing? Am I missing something? Thanks!
Just do as it says, turn your iphone upside down and play like you normally would. Also play it in that position from the start.

Im actually a lot better paying that way than normal. Damn reaching the 8th island is going to be tough.... maybe upside down
