Bought this the minute I read the review yesterday, when it was at about 22 in the charts. Very, very impressed. Cute and addictive =perfect app. Gamecentre support for the future would be nice, but I have no gripes with the performance of the game or anything. It's beautiful.

 

Nice job. You're gonna need updates to stay up there though.

Kudos to the dev for an excellent game. The more I play, the more I grow tired of going through the same islands over and over. I stand by my suggestion for Retina, additional music, and random islands.

This will never beat Angry Birds. That's a long shot.

 

So I've read the comments by andreas somewhere in this thread but frankly, I'm not buying his "poor-student-did't-had-a-vision-in-his-life" story. Lol. People love that kind of stories and he knows that just too well. It brings back a Deja vu with the harry potter writer how she was a poor housewife to became a multimiljonair (wich was most of the time made up). I also think that the game is a lil too well put together for a one-man show. If it's the truth, consider this as a major compliment.

Aside from all this, the game is a true gem and I hope you will make a lot of bucks!

What do you mean exactly? I think it's pretty clear that like Cut the Rope before it, Tiny Wings will spend some time at the top.

Every day at midnight the hill patterns and graphics change. So you can perfect the same run during the day, but get a new one the following day.

 

I agree with you, Dev really played up that sob story long after the sentiments built up in this thread and the Neogaf latecomers. It's too well made.

Game is still good, though it hasn't clicked with me yet. Definitely needs content updates, including retina support, new islands, birds and gameplay scenarios.

 

Just play again tomorrow - islands randomise
