Get too the island 4 with no perfect slides is a nightmare it took the longest out of all the objectives got them all now though so I can concentrate on just getting highscores until Andreas adds more
I am burned out on this game. Just got the last nest... I'm number 8 on the leaderboards and I don't care to get any higher. Now to wait for the next update..
I got that in 2 or 3 tries I think. It's the 34s fever that gets me. I did it on iPad but wrong nest and I simply couldn't get it on iPhone. I'm waiting for tonight to get a new set of terrains. Hopefully easier to prolong my fever.
I've been playing through since day one on two different platforms on nest 26, without a single crash.
Woooo can't believe how fast this has climbed the charts. Go little birdie go! I too am getting the crashes about 90% of the time I get a notification. Hasn't screwed me up too bad yet, like ruining a game where I had an achievement or something, but it's definitely annoying. Also about the stutter when moving to a different island. Sometimes the stutter doesn't quite happen until I'm actually at the next island, and it disrupts me getting my first launch on the first set of hills. Nothing major, but again it's annoying and would be cool if it was fixed. Really just nitpicking at this point though, this game is damn near flawless. I get so excited for midnight to come so I can check out the new levels This game makes me feel like a kid again.
Now officially in the top ten (at #10) of all paid apps. Absolutely crazy. Released five days ago with no fuss, and now in the overall top ten. And almost entirely by word of mouth. Andreas, you have apparently created a pretty good game.
How to see new terrain now... I couldn't wait until midnight to see what happens, so I changed the time on my iPad and then started a new game....and the new terrain appeared. I love the idea of changing textures, but I didn't anticipate how much difference it would make to the game. I was used to the old textures and must now adjust to the new, different colored slopes. Great idea.
Cloud Touches I thought I did several cloud touches, but the summary reported only two. Does reaching the bottom of the clouds not count as a "Cloud Touch"? Is there any indication that you've achieved a Cloud touch, at the time it occurs? I haven't noticed anything.
Yes, just like for every successful dip an upward bended arrow would show at the bottom middle of the screen, for cloudtouches you'll see a cloud appeared. Anyway you need to peek into the clouds to be counted as a cloudtouch. Touching the clouds when you are leaving an island doesn't count either.
When you do a cloud touch, a cloud icon at the bottom of the screen should appear along with some score
Another thought: Do we all see the same terrain textures on the same day? If you've got two idevices, do they both show the same terrain texture?
one minus is that hills dosn't change like in Canabalt, there is random "house changing", and here we're getting different colors, but the same hills everytime... i played Tiny Wings for a 2 or 3 hours and now i'm bored, maybe i will play again in a few days.
