Yeah I still only see a Christmas lobby available for purchase. No elevator or roof. Haven't bought a new lobby because the Halloween lobby issue seems to persist, whereas elevator and roof look fixed.

It's actually a way of getting double bux... you've got to be really quick - some might say, speedy! and it sounds like you've got what it takes: Put simply, if you're dealt a 21, hit the stand button as quickly as you can and it pays out twice... Just updated. Didn't note any changes to costs for building or upgrading. Did note that the holiday lobby is now gone, probably released prematurely originally. After my 2nd fireworks reset in as many weeks, hopefully they've fixed that issue properly now, unfortunately my fireworks count didn't get reinstated
Think we can do this Edit : I've noted that since updating yesterday the game closes itself after a few minutes of inactivity, which is a bit annoying as I usually leave it running during the day and glance at my screen time to time.
I haven't been able to view an ad since updating, seems they made the ad problem worse and I hate how it closes the app now when idle for a few minutes

Kids these days are incredible, I watched my nephew in law (who was 1.5 at the time) unlock his dad's phone, went to apps, and loaded up youtube. Then proceeded to watch some cartoons :| I can barely navigate my tv lol. The xmas holidays theme has officially launched on TTV it seems, the pop up told me so this morning. The lobby/lift/roof are readily available to purchase, and all my missions are xmas themed. Promptly purchased the upgrades but was disappointed to find that it's a lot more difficult to run the lift now, as the red arrow blends into the wrath, and the floor numbers blur by as I zip my lift up and down. Also, doesn't seem like there's any check-in missions for xmas that was probably one of my biggest money makers.
I'd suggested a beefier floor indicator ages back: but I don't think NB take requests when it comes to UI...
Are you getting missions consistently as before with the Xmas missions? I remember with Halloween it seemed the frequency of missions was down. I don't like these themed missions. They should just mix them in with the regular missions. If I get a new character I'll now have to wait a few weeks for those new missions.
With the Xmas missions there are less missions. I prefer the regular missions with more variety than the themed missions or mixed will be awesome. And please Nimblebit make more content updates to your games like you make in the past (like Pocket Frogs and the original Tiny Tower) # Your newest games don't added so much content in the next updates.
It's going to be awfully boring looking for nothing but elves and lumberjacks for the next 27 days!! Another thing I noticed is that there only seems to be one character ( Spoiler Santa ) for the Christmas-themed missions, whereas we had two for Halloween, so the variety of missions is even less.
I do find that missions are lesser with the new theme. Add to that the fact that I skip every elf mission ( just too hard with every 3rd or so visitor and hotel patrol being an elf) Also quite disappointed that there's no check in missions. Like andrwsc said, think it'll be a borning few weeks. But at least the lollies, bunnies, trees and presents are relatively easy to find
I don't get why they force these holiday missions on us. Make it optional or integrate them with regular missions. I've probably only gotten 5 missions over the past day where in the past I got so many. I have been saving up to build 7 floors to get to 59 for the extra chip in missions and was looking forward to see if I get any new characters and their missions and now I have to wait 4 weeks to see them.
Totally agree. It is hard to see the correct floor with the current tiny red arrow. This should be something easy to fix but, as you said, suggestions about the UI are not generally given short shrift. Yes, a mix would be nice! Like you, I skip the elf & for the same reason. Given that it could easily hide behind a bitizen, it's too frustrating & time-consuming. OTOH, I have had "check-in" missions. By "lollies" do you mean what I see as peppermint candy? If not, what's are "lollies," lollipops? Wow, only 5? Now that's pitiful. And you make a good point about not seeing new characters (& their missions) with new floors when a theme crowds everything else out. What I do like is the "Santa" finding you've been good & awarding you 25 bux. My take on all of this is that if you read the comments about this version of TTV, quite a few people who do comment have problems. Now this is weird (or telling) but I just checked the iTunes Store & now there are zero ratings/comments! I was going to write that NB is probably focusing on these problems to our "I wish" TTV had these features comments.
I assume Frownface is a fellow Kiwi. Lollies = any candy/sweets. Agree about the missions - I generally only bother with the check-in missions, or the missions to find one large item so none of these X,mas themed missions appeals to me. Edited to say I've just seen Frownface is in fact an Aussie . . . (runs away and hides . . . )
