Thanks for your input. That would be logical but given how many people play on more than one device, I'm surprised that no one mentioned this before. In my case, I use my husband's ipad mini in the a.m. & p.m. Before I leave the house for the day, I switch to my iPhone 4s (not much fun to play on) on our home network & check that everything is the same (thus has been saved). It's baffling to me how the game knew *initially* to give me the FULL fireworks show but then, just a moment later, had total amnesia. Without knowing the exact reason, I can't prevent it. No one can. Only NB could theoretically fix it but it's busy working on their upcoming game so I doubt a solution will be forthcoming.
Technically you do know the reason and you can prevent it, but it would require you to simply only play on one device.
I get that all the time. I swap out/in a lot of dream jobs to harvest chips and it looks like that counter gets confused some times as a result of the swapping. As long as it shows 27 when I have all three gold stars, I don't care if it's messed up when I'm still working on finishing that floor.
This would be logical but MANY people play on more than one device. Heck TTV is designed to make that possible!. It's inconceivable to me that NB would design something that people have been asking for (ability to play on more than one device) but sneaking in a *gotcha*. If it's a glitch, as I strongly believe, it needs to be addressed. You've posted many wonderful posts here, TRB4, jam-packed with hints & irrefutable logic. Here, I think, your answer is too simplistic in the sense of being too impractical. One is always with one's iPhone but not only with one's other iDevices which may be too unwieldy to take around from place to place (my boss would notice THAT for sure .) If one plays from home & never away, one device would suffice, you're right. Personally, I get cross-eyed trying to find someone/thing on the small screen of the iPhone. And I do need to leave the house & can't take my husband's iPad even if I wanted to. This is all based on the supposition, made by someone earlier in the thread, that it was changing devices that did it. Then how come it happened now after a month or so rather than sooner? After all, I've been changing devices since practically Day 1. Further, why didn't it affect my chips or bux (which I always check when changing devices)? Again, I don't expect a resolution from NB since they are otherwise occupied. I'm writing this so hopefully it will serve as a "Heads up!" to those who, like me, DO play on two devices.
I wish I could play on more than one device. I think I got it to work once or twice total, my ipad only sends it to the cloud every few weeks. My phone only does if I log off wifi and switch to a cell network. My kids have been playing for a month and when I visit their towers, it still only shows the original first couple floors. Theirs don't sync either. There is nothing special on our network, I even put the iPad outside any protection on our router, and it still wouldn't update to the cloud. I tried it at a relative's house recently, and it had the same issue. Never had other issues with other games and cloud syncing, including prior Nimblebit games. Disco Zoo worked flawlessly. I don't think there are as many playing on multiple devices as you think. I really hope they ditch this fail system I their next game, and go back to a more reliable system in the future. At the very least, the game needs a button you can push that force sends/loads it to the cloud. That would fix it. I can only assume the game thinks the cloud has a more recent version, when it clearly does not. I keep looking for a patch to fix it.

Special Thanks Pocket Frogs, one of NB's earlier games, has the longest thread in this forum. One of the things we did when someone sent us a frog was to thank the person in the thread & reciprocate, of course. This would be totally impractical in this particular thread, given the nature of the game, nonetheless I'd like to thank some people who've been unusually good trading partners over the past month. So thanks to: AndrewC, Bald Eagle, CorkyMc, Ethan, Frownface, Ghost, jmac, Laurafitz4, Mojocuervo, PBSNellie, Rebarsh, Relharn, Roborobota, Speeed, Summer & 34V0 (my Unknown 8). In some cases I've shortened names (this is my own list, after all!) & it does *not* include people I've added more recently or those I might have inadvertently miscounted in my list-keeping. Wow, 98 floors. How did you do it? Grinding or spending real dollars and how did you get level 11 and 12
Lisianne, it's happened to me at least twice, where my fireworks count reset without reason. I don't play on multiple devices, so maybe it isn't such a simple fix.
Yeah, especially since in the beta thread eeenmachine (a dev) said they were capping the floors at 10...
I had an 11 floor on my old game upgraded from 1 to 10 so fast the game got caught out and went one extra! Not sure how 12 would work though.
Grind! I love this build game more than any other! I was able to get the 11 and 12 as FortyOneNY said, and I guess I went so fast it caught up more and gave me 12. The cool thing is the floors go by algorithms so they increase stock and prices even though you aren't supposed to be able to☺️
My guess is big time cheating. I have no proof but the game stops at level ten and unless you were part of the rollout (and even then) there is no way you can have this many floors legitimately. Guru, if that's how you want to want to play God bless you, but I'm out.
My guess is you judge and assume too often. Even another player backed up the possibility of a glitch which would allow it to happen, so to call me a cheater is not fair. I wouldnt judge you, so please don't judge me.
