I like the afro idea for Phat Beatz, and I am also saving the cyborg for Techno 21. I used the heart for the Candy Shoppe; same logic you had for Candy Slots I guess!
I used Aloha for the Tiki Lounge, Fisherman for Fishing Slots, and I'm saving the Diver for Snorkel Slots when I get it. I like the idea of the frog for the Splash Zone! That leaves Swim & Sun without a unique costume. May have to double up on some of them.
You're never too old! But it's actually one of DJ Beats missions: find the members of Pandemonium that are meant to be playing there. EDIT: at least it was a mission before NB decided Halloween should last for a month!
Time to "finish" game Anyone have an idea how long they expect it would take to get all 104 floors gold stars without using bux? Just adding up the coins and time to earn the coins is something like 208 days and that's not even subtracting for the restock cost or downtime between restocking (assumes a constant 36 coins/min). I'm in no rush, because what the point be of that, but moreso just curious. I played but didn't finish TT and was curious whether this one will take more or less time to "finish". Also, did Nimblebit add many new floors after releasing TT? I find it very strange that TTV has an uneven number of floors for each type. Between 19 and 22 of each type. Why not an even number, especially since we can't choose? Unless they were planning on evening it out before any non-cheater gets to 104. Another thought -- the current $ cost for each new floor if they were bought with bux is about $30 for me (100k bux at 44 floors), or $15 if you jump on the occasional popup offers. I really like that you really cannot realistically buy your way to the "top". I guess you could, but it would be thousands of dollars. I am a little surprised that the VIP package doesn't include some kind of gameplay bonus. Like even a couple extra lobby slots, e.g., that is more of a convenience than a cheat.
The ones I couldn't quite come up with costumes for (and resorted to seemingly random ones) : Basement poker 777 Slots Grape Cellar Lazer Lanez Any ideas?
Found myself with a free day the other day so I decided to gather some statistics to work out where my chips were coming from. I recorded the source of all my chips for a day of actively playing and here are my results: Code: Missions 156 (37%) Elevator (non casino) 44 (11%) Elevator (casino) 98 (24%) Dream Jobber 61 (15%) Fully booking a hotel 20 (5%) Fully restocking a floor 38 (9%) Total 417 Firstly i'll point out that I usually don't earn anywhere near that amount of chips in a day, less than half of that, that was just a big day. - I had at the time 40 floors, so earned 3 chips/mission - My floor breakdown was : 8 Casinos, 8 Hotels, 24 Other. - Of my 32 employable floors, 23 had 3 gold stars. - I kept all my casinos during that time fully stocked with bux Unsurprisingly while actively playing I earned the majority of my chips from missions. Having earned 98 chips for delivering patrons to casino floors, and that casinos comprised of 1/5 of my floors, I can estimate that I ran 490 elevators that day. 392 of those elevators were to non-casino floors, and I earned 44 chips for those deliveries. From this I infer that approximately 11% of elevators will tip a chip. I fully restocked a floor a total of 78 times that day, earning 38 chips. So approximately 1/4 of the time I earned a tip (worth 2 chips) I usually don't go through the exercise of swapping DJ's into a vacant slot (because i usually don't have any vacancies) but for the exercise I did that day, expecting that i'd earn a lot of chips. While I did earn 61 chips, my gut feeling was that it just wasn't worth the effort. I happily evict silver stars, but swapping out gold stars just felt cumbersome. Because I had 9 levels (out of 32) with silver stars, and assuming that DJ's were randomly distributed. I can approximate that I would have made only ~30% of what I did (18 chips instead of 61) I didn't keep any sort of tabs on how often i filled out a hotel, due to the revolving door nature of them it was difficult to keep track. But if I were to guess, i'd say 1/4 of the time I fully fill out a hotel do I get a tip (2 chips) I actively played over a period of 7.5 hours that day (450 minutes) so my overal earn rate for the time was 0.9 chips per minute. Playing normally the next day, I earned about 150 chips lol.
I used the overalls for Basement Poker (looks like a janitor, who would be stuck in the basement...?) and the Roman for Grape Cellar (Rome, Italy, wine, ...) Not the strongest of connections, I admit! But I also have no idea for 777 Slots and the bowling alley.
I used Uncle Sam's for 777 floor in my original game. Nice razzmatazz - not sure if there's a more fitting floor that I never unlocked?
Has this ever happened to you? Opened TTV yesterday morning & tapped on the firecracker for fireworks display & received the bux & few chips I get from it. Then I clicked on gifts, restocked items missing from stores, & saw another firecracker! I tapped that & got the message: "Your first fireworks display in a while! (Huh?! <--my comment) Come back tomorrow for an even bigger show with even more cash!" I've played every day (people I gift every day can attest to that) although clearly not as much as many of you here, so I was surprised. Maybe a temporary glitch, I thought. That was until this morning when it said it was my second day with a significantly shorter, second-day-like, fireworks show & the fewer bux/chip(s?) that come with. I've been playing ~40+ days so far, have updated TTV but my OS is still OS7. I don't jailbreak anything or fiddle with my OS. Sometimes my game is left open at night, sometimes not. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone explain why this might have happened?
It has happened to me as well. I've been playing the same tower since beta, and the fireworks have glitched like that on me a couple times. I think it has been a couple weeks since it happened to me though. I just figured it was because I tend to switch between devices to play and something just didn't save properly when exiting.
Well here my thoughts: Basement Poker - I feel like this place is a shady backroom poker game for shady individuals. With that said, I would probably staff it with Leather Jacket employees. Although Gangster or Biker might work too. 777 Slots - This is a tough one because it is just a generic casino. The only thing I could really see fitting would be like a cocktail waitress, but the closest we have is the Waiter costume. You could maybe use the Elvis costume as well, but having 3 might look weird. Grape Cellar - This is just a winery, so I would staff it with either the Waiter or the Apron costumes. Lazer Lanez - This is the hardest one, because there are NO costumes that look like bowling shirts. The best I could come up with was using the Business Suit and pretending that they're business men or priests carrying bowling ball bags.
I just spent 1000 chips on 10 chip bets on Dragon Poker for #TALEAGUE. Hopefully we can stay in the top 30 clubs because the Silver Player's Club roof is the last one I need. Man I got so close it hurts:
That is weird. I just checked all of my floors and they all add up correctly. Not sure what is going on there. If you have a spare floor somewhere you could move them out one at a time and try to figure out who isn't being added properly. Hopefully it isn't the 9 being counted as an 8.
