Thanks so much, frownface! Screenshots are of no use when one's brain doesn't cooperate in transcribing something. Do you know who that person is?
Yup. That's me… I used to be 10FT which means we must have started on the Beta at practically the same time! i'll hold off betting for now and see if there's any interest.
Update Are there any "surprise" negatives about the latest update? Does it fix the iPad2 double chip reward bug? Thanks
The latest update has been quite good, very stable no more tip bug. However, I haven't received a video ad since I updated last Thursday. Not the biggest deal for me but YMMV. Ha, why not, I have been floating between TA2 & TA1. Admittedly I don't compete in the event so much at the moment though. ID: 1CNYY
If your new floor finishes in less than 33 hrs it'll make it pretty easy for you to compete Go team #TALEAGUE
So for it's only been an improvement for me with the tip fix. The iPad double chip glitch is still happening in 1.1.1. It still doesn't fix the iPhone 5s crash on viewing ads.
haha, woke up this morning to see my techno21 floor had finished. If it was a couple days earlier would've been better but thems the breaks. Still saving my chips will go for a gold roof at some stage.
A quick question on tipping "etiquette". Do folks always visit someone who tipped them and tip back? I've been keeping track of the people tipping me over the last 7 days. I have 35 people on my friends list (all added from either this thread or the TTV #toucharcade club thread), and I've played in all their towers every day. Of those 35, only 12 have tipped me back. I'm looking at revamping my friends list to remove non-tippers and find new friends to add. I acknowledge that some people won't be playing as often, and I guess some haven't updated to the latest version as I have, but I would have expected more people to tip me back. I certainly visit people who tip me. I'm 1F06B if you're a return tipper.
I always visit randoms who drop in on me (just to check out what floors they have), and seeing you on here, I can put a name to the code and add you. But you've pretty much answered your own post - in that, the more casual player will always be more laissez-faire; while the hard core see it as a moral obligation 35+ friends does sound like a lot of hard work though... as the Human League said ...Everybody needs 2 or 3 friends Speaking of hard work! What's a guy gotta do to get a win in here?
#TALEAGUE I'm in. good to finally know who the 'friends' are. I've been naming all my anonymous donations TA
