Ya, that's probably right. I originally thought it was floor 36 and saved up enough to buy 4 floors all at once. Saved up enough to get floor 37 and now need to save up another 2.8M to get to 38. At that point, I am going to stop adding floors for a while.
You start to get 3 chips when the "BUILD FLOOR" slot is #40. That would mean the floor under construction is #39 and your last finished floor is #38.
Yup. Here's how I feel about all VIPs: Construction: Meh. Taking off 3 hours is OK, I guess. If I'm not close to having enough coins to build a new floor, this is an instant dismiss. Not worth taking up space in the lobby unless I'm very close to building. Delivery: This one always has value, even if my floors are fully stocked. It's basically free coins. If I won't be playing for a while, it's worth leaving in the lobby so I can instantly refresh a floor. Travel Agent: Same as Delivery. Always going to be useful, and I'll keep it around if my suites happen to be full (though they probably won't be). Housekeeper: Already talked about Celebrity: LOL good riddance
I actually think the slots are very poorly done. Go to any casino, and you will see no one playing the one line slot machines. It's all about the nine line or higher.
Actually you need to start constructing Floor 39 to get 3 chips per mission. I too was originally mistaken on how I thought the chip increases worked, and you may have even got that misinformation from one of my posts, and I am sorry if you did. On Sept. 15th (page 108) TA user Laire explained to me how the increases actually work and I have quoted their post below. I have just edited my old posts to reflect this information in the hopes that future players who take the time to read through this massive thread and read my strategy posts don't make the same mistake.
All of the casino games (maybe not poker) are very simplified versions of the games. For example the version of Blackjack in TTV, called 21, does not offer insurance, splitting or doubling down. It also counts any 21 as a blackjack and the dealer can't push you on a 21. The Slots game is also very simplified. Assuming that all of the slots in the game only contain 1 of each symbol per reel than the odds are as follows: PRIZE - ODDS = % CHANCE No prize - 120 in 216 = 55.56% 10 times bet - 60 in 216 = 27.78% 50 times bet - 7 in 216 = 3.24% 75 times bet - 7 in 216 = 3.24% 100 times bet - 7 in 216 = 3.24% 125 times bet - 7 in 216 = 3.24% 150 times bet - 7 in 216 = 3.24% 500 times bet - 1 in 216 = 0.46% ANY prize - 96 in 216 = 44.44% If those odds are correct, then the long term average payout per spin would be around 21.3 times your bet.
I have 33.86M right now. I haven't been playing as agressively as I was when I started, so my rate of income has slowed down noticeably. But I should reach my goal of 34.5M tomorrow and then I will construct 17 floors at once! I also have 88K bux on hand to upgrade most of the floors right away. I had been hoarding my chips for weeks, but I decided to make an attempt at getting the Gold Player's Roof during the Panda 21 event. I got 6th place in #TOUCHARCADE. So I got my gold roof
Desperately Seeking XPXG I received a gift from this mysterious person this morning. Certain of the code for I took a screenshot. After adding him/her & trying to gift back, I am constantly greeted with: "There was an error visiting XPXG, try again later." Does anyone know why this might have happened?
For the past few days, the app crashes if I say yes to watching an ad. If I had done anything in the game a bit prior to accepting the offer, that gets lost in the crash. Usually it just means restocking stuff, but sometimes it's a mission or a dream job or VIP that gets lost.
It's funny, those are the ones I value the most. I always save them. I was playing for a while with the goal of increasing the number of floors/getting coins. At this point it's more than a day of wait time, with less coins until it's complete. Even after using a lobby full of construction workers I still had 7 hours of wait for 48, and for floor 49 it'll be longer. The hotel VIPs are among the most valuable for gaining coins/getting more floors, so I try to keep a slot open in case one comes along, though once I'm 80% of the way to the next floor I move to filling the lobby with construction.
Yeah, I get that on the iPhone 5s. Before clicking, make sure to exit the app to force it to save, then go back and you won't lose state. Luckily I have an iPad which not only doesn't crash but which pays double coins, so I don't use the phone much.
It depends on your goals. If you are going for coins to build floors, then upgrading hotels, and paying bux to fill the hotels when you get a housekeeper will earn a lot more coins than anything else. Half my hotels are level 9, the rest are on the way, so a housekeeper gives me an instant 21,000 coins. When I am trying to build a floor I pay to keep the hotels full since they have the best payout, esp. with occasional missions emptying a floor and replacing the guest.
I only keep my construction workers if i'm close to building a new floor. No point if i'm a day+ from adding a new level. The hotel VIPs are what I prefer, something satisfying about checking in a full floor and checking them out straight away for a big cash injection. Deliverymen are hugely valuable, that I understand, however I struggle with them purely due to my obsession with having all my levels restocking at the same time. Inefficient and irrational I know, but it's a game and we all have our own ideas of fun
What do you think to create a new club, where all the members put the ID on this forums? All the toucharcade clubs are full of unkown players. I think the name could be #TALEAGUE My id is 10FR
