Yep, not many people will be able to visit them. Although it looks like the current Android version is 1.1.1 and luckily this game is cross platform, so as long as they have some friends playing on Android they'll still be able to get some tips.
That was, of course, the first thing I had checked. Also, I'm on 1.1, and 1.1.1 is not available to me (yet). All of the people on my friends list are on 1.1 too, or on whatever version allows me to still visit them.
No need to stop by my casino, not only am I not getting videos, I'm not getting tips either. I think I'm being punished for reporting and sometimes exploiting a bug, but I have also spent thirty Bucks real money supporting NB on this game (1000 chip pack, 10,000 chip pack, and roof/elevator/lobby pack). Oh well, live and learn.
I believe green means they have the current players club casino floor. I have kings 21. If you add me you can see I'll be green. 19KN9
Don't you get so many videos and then nothing till the following day? I don't see NB being that petty; or having the time. Besides, you know when you've actually been punished - you're game gets locked out from all friend/players club activity & cloud support.
I thought that maybe I had just watched all the videos they'd give me for a day, but now this is over two days now, and I've gotten only one each day.
I am on version 1.1 and do get video offers but as soon i want to watch the game crashes snd all progress made is lost.
That's strange, my one & only update from the release version is version 1.1. Was yours the initial version? When the update is finally "reposted," I hope NB will be more transparent about what EXACTLY has changed. If NB prefers not to post on iTunes what major bugs were addressed & changes made (good & bad), then I hope some early adopter/brave soul here will post his/her experiences. Many people have this issue, I'm afraid. Too many players to single you out for trying to get double chips. I got a few chips yesterday using an iPhone which just had the one version update but I got fewer ads than what I used to get. That wasn't a scientific analysis but my perception, I should note. Now NB said we'd get 2 chips per ad we viewed but it didn't say the number of ads presented would be the same! People with iPads who can't even get ONE video ad must feel really taken. Amazingly enough, I got a pop-up ad from NB offering me a half price deal on buying the $29.99 "bux," yesterday. First things first, I say. I'll still visit because it's not clear to me that, not unlike PF, the gifts will just pile up & you'll be able to get them when you eventually get gifts, when the bug is squashed. Even if you don't get the back gifts, I feel good about what I'm doing; I'm a big fairness freak. BTW, very generous of you to support NB to the tune of approximately $20. Obviously there were not enough of you around & that's what prompted the "half price" specials & other "changes" to the game. As a final note, once upon a time, NB frequently commented & answered questions in this forum (they did in the earlier beta testing thread for TTV). Then they created their own support pages where they were very active participants around the time that TT & then PP were released. When that online forum was closed, their interaction with their fans was greatly diminished. Much like the video ads. I miss those golden years.
Yeah, version 1.0.1 was the initial public release that was made available on August 27th 2014. According to the TTV wiki's Version page the only changes from the pre-release 1.0 and public release 1.0.1 is the addition of a counter to the mission tab and some bug fixes. Version 1.0.1 was the version that everyone had before the 1.1 update.
Came in here to see if this was happening to anyone else. Thought it might have been caused by the forced restore of my phone (thanks, iOS8.0.1), but it's happening to at least one other person. Anyone else crashing when trying to view an ad?
Rushing costs / formula Don't know if this has been discussed, but here are the two formulas for the rushing with Bux of item restock and construction: Item Restock 3 bux per 10 minutes remaining restock time, rounded up. Divide the remaining restock time by 10 and then multiply by 3. If the restock time is a multiple of ten you have add on an extra 3 bux, to account for the way time is displayed in game -- 10 minutes means between 10 and 11 minutes. Construction Rush This is the cost to rush a floor that was built with coins and then rushed with bux to speed its construction. The formula works just like the restock formula, except the multiple is 12 instead of 3. Thus, construction rushing is 4x more expensive on a per-minute basis than restocking.
Thank you for sharing this information. I had requested the Item restock info be added to the TTV wiki, but no one added it. I now know that if I ever stopped playing for 4 days and all my floors were out of stock, the Quick Stock option would cost me 74,460 coins and 3,060 bux to stock my whole tower. Man this board has really slowed down lately
Has anyone had a message pop up that said get 100,000 bux for $1.00. I clicked yes and it said connecting to server and it hung up and I had to close out of the game and come back in and never got it. I had in app purchases set to off and tried to change it to on so I think that was why it didn't work. It happened last night.
