Just Got All Levels to 9 !! (R99P)

    Hey all,

A couple days ago I posted that I had 19 floors mostly upgraded to level 7. Now I'm up to 23 floors and all upgraded to Level 9 with 1 Level 10 upgrade. Woohoo!

It can be done without spending cash. I mostly try to rack up my chips doing errands and missions. Then I go to the casino using sets of 10 bets. I've managed to eclipse 100,000 bux pretty quickly that way.

My strategy is to concentrate on upgrading my floors and only use gold to acquire new floors. Once I reach level 10 on all floors my chips/bux will be used to buy new floors, but I'll max each new floor to 10 before I use my bux on another floor. Every so often the gold will get me floors as well. I imagine it's how the higher level guys are doing it too, once their IAPs run out.:)

If you want a visitor just come play at one of my casinos. I usually visit as soon as the gift shows up. I don't want to forget and leave you high and dry.

    Have fun!!

    Chris

Right now I have all my floors at level 5, but I want to start getting them higher. Is it better to increase them all evenly from this point on, or should I max out one floor at a time? Also, the max level for a floor is 10 right?

    yes, max is 10.
I tend to upgrade one guest room to 10 quickly to have a good use of The VIPs that book floors or checkout guests. Then I upgrade casino floors because you need them stocked to play the minigames, and you even need them fully stocked to earn a chip for every bitizen that wants to go to the casino floor.

Over 50% of this thread is just people begging for people to add their friend codes. There is LITERALLY a specific section of the forum of expressly for that use MMO Codes and 'Add Me' Requests and someone has already created a thread for Tiny Tower Vegas Tiny Tower Vegas (#toucharcade club). So can people please take their "add me" requests over there so that people who want to discuss the game can actually do so with out having to scroll past dozens of posts that simply consist of a friend code with no useful content?

    Sorry, just venting.

Just started playing this today, use to be quite a fan of the original and dabbled in TDS recent, though I lost motivation for TDS once I realised that the game had died in terms of updates and support.

Wondering what's the best place to use my bux? As a carryover habit from TT & TDS i've just dumped them into elevator upgrades but starting to wonder if upgrading levels are better value.

Everything is only level 2 at the moment

Upgrading your suites (white floors) to level 10 is definitely the best way to make coins. Especially with the Maid and Travel Agent VIPs. Also you make some quick coins every time you get a "check in 3 people" mission.

The only other floors to really worry about upgrading in the beginning of the game are casinos (yellow floors). Every single time you drop off a bitizen to a fully stocked casino floor you get a chip. Therefore you'll want to make sure that your casinos stay fully stocked. The higher you level your casinos, the longer they remain stocked.

That's about all I really spend my bux on right now. The other floors (purple, green, and orange floors) all make the same amount of coins per minute regardless of level, so I just level them up to level 3 because it doesn't cost that much, and then just stock them when they run out.

I am also trying to upgrade my elevator once per floor. So a 19 floor tower would have a 4.75 FPS elevator. That way no matter how tall your tower gets it will always take 4 seconds to reach the top.

Those are my current tips. Good luck.

I don't know if it's ideal, but what I did was upgrade all my my floors to level 5, then got my elevator to 5 FPS. Now I'm trying to get all my floors to level 10 (max), and then I'll just max out my elevator.

This time it's really hard to make progress.
I played Tiny Tower and Tiny Death Star and I found them more easy to lvl up.
I'm @ floor 22 and yesterday I spent more than 1 day without build anything.
If at this low level you need more than 1 day to farm money to build I don't wanna think what could happen when you are much higher.
I have all my floor @ lvl 6, I have the bux to lvl up them all to 7, but even if you upgrade them you don't get more money you just avoid to refill them very often.

Dunno, but maybe NimbleBit made it a bit too hard.

So I see a lot of people suggesting leveling casinos up quickly, because of the free chip tip from dropping off people. I've got mine sitting at level 3, which takes about 30 min to stock all 3 items, and it seems to stay stocked for quite a while. I'm worried if I up the levels much higher, it'll take so long to stock the 3 items that I won't even get all 3 stocked for an hour or more each day, losing all the chip opportunities while waiting on it. Has that been an issue for others who have leveled it up much higher?

I got mine all to 5 right away, and quick stocking them is so cheap comparatively that I always have all three items stocked. And if I'm correct, at max level you get so much stock that you can easily earn the bucks required to quick stock long before you need to so long as you play semi regularly.

At level 5 it only takes about 5-10 min of playing to get enough chips to earn enough to quick stock my 20 floors, and have it last like 5 hours. Going by this chart: http://www.tinytowervegaswiki.com/w/images/6/6a/UpgradingChart.png

I would guess that at the max level of 10 you'd have at least a full day or longer to earn enough bux. And even if you can't you can see that the cost/time it takes to restock doesn't scale as high as the stock, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Just remember that if you upgrade your Suites, you're committing yourself to an "active" style of gameplay. Once your Tower reaches the 20s, the novelty of playing for extended periods of time may have worn off, and you pretty much HAVE to do that with high-level Suites or they won't gather any revenue.

Suites also become more of a pain the larger your tower gets. Eventually you'll start cursing every fifth floor when another one gets added on.

Whereas if you upgrade other floors and ignore the suites, eventually you can go into "ultimate passive revenue" game style. At Level 10, you can stock just the second and third items, after which you can completely ignore that floor for two days before it needs to be restocked. Which will keep your tower progressing even after the novelty has worn off.

Suites are excellent early on, but if there was a way to "undo" my purchases and return the suites to Level 1, I'd do that and pretty much stop using the elevator altogether for anything other than VIPs.

With a Level 10 Floor with all Dream Jobs, you get 7200, 14400 and 21600 Inventory respectively. Items get purchased by consumers every 5, 10 and 15 seconds for the three levels, so the three items last 10 hours, 40 hours and 90 hours (3.75 Days) respectively.

Of course, the third item also takes FIVE HOURS to restock (or 90 Bucks), so quick stocking can be expensive if you have several floors you need to do at once!

I realized the type of the floor you get is fixed:

    -> Yellow -> White -> Green -> Purple -> Orange ->

Ok the building is more balanced, but I'd prefer a random floor assignment.
If my thought is right my next floor should be a suite (white floor) :(

Wee graphic to show the stocking time for each level:

5hrs max to stock the big one... which then takes 90 hrs to sell out

The Hit and Stand buttons seem opposite of my expectations. Does anyone else think the Hit button should be on the right and Stand on the left? I've lost many a hand due to this, but maybe my brain is just wired funny.

Seems like i'm just waiting to get enough cash each floor.
Is it a bit unbalanced between time it takes to build a floor and time it takes to earn cash to start building? considering its pretty easy to get VIP builders?
