That was pretty much my strategy until some kind person here said that if I had a VIP who would completely "stock" a floor, one could use that VIP to stock the floor & THEN look for DJers to "people" it. That way the VIP would take up one space rather than three. Me, too, in terms of "non-darkening" of "Friends" previously light. I usually have to play a game more than once (or another game) to have it darken to make sure my gift is received. It happens with at least once (maybe twice) per gifting session (about 20 people), for me I've discovered it's in the evening except for someone just added. p.s.: Mentioned by someone before, I really appreciate the notification when one is about to delete a DJer (whether or not one needs him). Sometimes I'm too quick on the trigger. Nice user-friendly touch, NB!

Not too sure. And neither is this wiki: http://www.tinytowervegaswiki.com/wiki/Elevators I'm at 4FPS. If it's anything like the original Tiny Tower the elevator goes extremely fast. I recall getting the fastest elevator on TT took almost 1 month of stocking up on bux. It was one hell of an achievement so I think it'll be comparable in TTV.
Is the roof given to the top 30 winners of the competition one of the roofs available to the general public or is it an exclusive to winners of the competition?

So if your crew is #5 but you only ranked #31 within your crew, then you will not get it. And I don't think you will get another duplicate roof if you already got it from a previous event? I'm assuming this because my club ranked #12 and I ranked #23, and my prize popup said I received 10 chips. The event info screen mentions the prize for this bracket is "10 chips + special roof". I think it did not give me a roof because I already have the bronze roof from a previous event.
It's an exclusive roof.. a spade in gold (#1 club), silver (#2-10 clubs) or bronze (#11-100 clubs). I found them particularly ugly though.
I still have you listed in my Friends so I can notice when this bug is fixed. You're still showing up on my end with 0 floors. I'm unable to try the syncing thing since I am only playing TTV on my phone. It would kinda be nice if I could play it on my computer browser (because the laptop charger still works so leaving the game open all the time there would not be such a problem as on my phone ... my new phone charger should arrive early next week though)
