Gifting, or at least the "darkening" of friends, has been weird for the last couple days. I visit someone once and they remain light. But if I play their game three times, it turns dark. No idea if that's graphical or if people aren't receiving a gift until I do those multiple attempts.
So what is everyone's "strategy" for the influx of applicants and handling the lobby? It only JUST occurred to me that keeping the lobby full, especially with non-dreamjobbers is a mistake. Now as soon as they arrive, I'm removing these useless guys to make room for more VIPs and dream jobbers. VIPS seem pretty rare in this game, in comparison to the original TT.
I generally keep it clear until I'm close to getting a new floor, then I'll try to get 3 9's for that floor. Also if it's full up then you won't get DJers for the floors you do have. Friend code: 15BPH
Ok, good. I was afraid I was the only one getting this error. I've been having it for a couple of days as you mentioned and it's pretty annoying. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon. My strategy is to accept VIPs and use them up ASAP. Also the DJrs can stay if their floor is currently being restocked and I can't assign them right away, and lastly when I'm close to getting my next floor I stock up on level 9's for that one (I've got the order of the floors memorized).
There is a set rotation that it feeds through. First comes casino floor, en it goes through all the shopping floors, then finally a suite. Then it repeats.
This is explained on Nimblebits support page. You earn it, then it has to save on their servers, then it updates. Takes about 20 min.
Wow, that was tense. I joined #TOUCHARCADE for the past event to try and win the gold roof and I got 30th place! I had to win about 65000 bux for that. No chips left, after starting with about 700 plus all I earned in the past 3.5 days. I have Panda 21 for the new event, but I think I'll simply try for a bronze roof so that I have one of each. Elevator max upgrade level Anyone know what max elevator level (fps) is? Currently on level 5 but curious if I have many more to upgrade as its now costing quite a few bux!
