Ok thanks guys. Another quick question: is it worth keeping the silver star dream job citizens (who have shit stats) after gaining the buck?
Again, a 0 Skill Dream Job is a LOT better than a 9 Skill without a Dream Job. For the sake of easy numbers, let's say you have an item that costs 500 Coins to Stock and provides 1,000 Quantity. If you have three 9 Skill people in that store, that item will only cost 365 Coins to stock that 1,000 Quantity (27% Savings). If you have three 0 Skill people in that store but a Dream Job for that item, it will cost the full 500 Coins to Stock but will provide 2,000 Quantity. Dream Job wins every time.
I apologize if this was asked before. Ok so is a bitzen with a score of 2 in say retail with a dream job in the place better than a bitzen with a retail score of 9 but no dream job? Also what's the difference between silver star dream job and gold star?
a lot of people have done the math already for Dream jobber vs high stat. a lvl 0 Dream jobber always takes priority as its a effective 50% discount vs 9% or something like that...my math is baaad
Yep, when you realize that each stat point is only worth a 1% discount towards restocking, and restocking is pretty much negligible after profit from sales, well it makes the whole stat thing pretty useless. The only way the raw stats would be even close to being able to compete against DJers is if each stat point was worth a 2% discount. Then 3 lv. 9 employees would have a 54% discount vs the 50% DJers get. The only problem with this solution is that 3 gold DJers would essentially have a 77% discount on all goods vs the 63.5% discount they would get now.
Definitely very addictive, only been playing for a few days though. Please add me! I fortunately got Dragon Poker as one of my first games 12X9M
I hope Nimblebit will consider adding an instructions page to the menu for some of the casino games. Not everyone is familiar with poker, I'm definitely not. Its my least fave game because its so difficult to win. Shame that 21 offers such a low payout because its quite simple. Are there just four casino games at this point? (slots, poker, blackjack, 21) I'm hoping there are more added in a future update.
21 and blackjack are the same game, so really just 3 games! Does anyone know what speed the elevator tops out at and how much that costs?
Well, it looks like Apple products and I are not getting along at the moment. My iPhone USB charging cord is not charging at all. It had been slowly dying over the past couple of weeks and finally went belly up yesterday. And today, my MacBook Pro decided not to boot up. So I am computer-less while I sort this out. Woot!!!! Awesome job everyone in TA1!!!! And a big thank you to all the TA1 support crew to help keep TA1 one of the Top 100 Club. You and me both. I suck at poker. Slots is more my pace. I have the feeling the next event will be Blackjack. :-/ @BD72 I hope you get your TTV sorted out. You still show up as having only 1 floor on my friends list.
Blackjack (21) offers a lower "max" payout because even in real life, it's one of the only games where you actually have a small advantage over the dealer if you're playing the game correctly. (Since you're typically at a table with other players, it's the haphazard way those other people may play that will take away your advantage.) You also have multiple advantages in this game that DON'T exist in the real world: * You get paid on ties * If you hit 21 (not just Blackjack), you auto-win. The CPU doesn't even get a chance to check to see if it can tie * Any combination of 21 pays 266% (80 Bux) - in real life, it's 150% your bet and only for a "true" (Face Card and Ace) Blackjack. * I don't think you have to worry about paying "insurance" if the dealer has an Ace showing Poker has the largest POTENTIAL payoffs, but you're losing more than half of the time, and a large number of your "wins" are Jacks or Better which pay worse than a Blackjack Tie. My preferred games are still Slots (until they reduce the percentage of the time you win - I'm sure it's coming), Blackjack, Poker, in that order.
Ak! Sorry to hear your charger went belly up I contacted Nimblebit and followed their instructions... And let them know that doing such did not fix the problem. I am still waiting to hear back. Some others have reported problems on here too with iPad syncing, so I suspect I'm not alone... Just a bummer it never registered any of my tower so people could visit lol. =^_^=
Anyone have thoughts on how many elevator upgrades are too many? I have mine up to 4 fps and I think I can't push it any higher - the numbers blur and I have to really concentrate to find the floor I want.
