In terms of the cost to stock the item. When you restock, you have to pay for it. It's basically negligible though.
There's only the one "prize roof" (in Bronze, Silver and Gold) for the Player's Club, right? There isn't a new style of roof from event to event? I got the Gold Roof on the first event after it went global (since that was on a non-Poker event, I invested in chips to do my "how to gain coins the fastest" research and there was still a smaller player base at that time making it easier). Haven't had much interest in the last two events because Poker is the most 'realistic,' and compared to my payouts in Slots or Blackjack, the least profitable even if I use proper strategies.
I was in the Canadian Soft Launch, tower has 45 floors, part of #TOUCHARCADE2. I play everyday and watch our leaderboard closely and haven't noticed any cheaters in our team as I know most of the crew in the top. My belief is that this game has a very fair way to compete in the players club that is independent of tower size. This is because the easiest way to earn chips is delivering people to fill casino floors and the ratio of casino floors is always the same no matter how high your tower is. So I assume that people in the top 30 of each club are there because they simply play more. I earn about 50-100 chips a day playing when I can. I then play the casino games 1 chip at a time and usually am in top 7 in our group. So why do others have crazy high totals? I think they may have had hoarded some chips from the beta and soft launches and are now using them. Also I think they play more often than most. And I believe that they are bigger risk takers that bet 10 chips at a time. 10XY
And maybe they save chips from one event to the other. If you save chips for 3 days in a row because you don't like the minigame or you are not as available as you need to compete, then on the next event you'll have a very strong start. And they might just buy chips in the store from time to time too. And it's right too that the tower size is almost irrevelant for the club, which is nice. You only get more dream jobs to assign with a larger tower, but the "find x guys" missions are harder to complete too, so it's very balanced. 2JCW with dragon poker
I like that your can look at the graphics in the gaps around the construction tarp on floors being built and figure out what floor you have before construction is completed. Just match the graphics with floors in your friends' towers and you've discovered what floor you have! Please add # 281F I have Dragon Poker

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know any ideal formulas for making bucks? I noticed 21 is pretty stable, but doesn't pay out much. Poker and slots pay better but you a long time with out winning. So betting lots of chips on them during a losing streak can hurt, though a win means a massive payout. So which games seem best and how many chips at a time should I use?
I never really gave slots a chance since you're at the mercy of random numbers. Typically I play 21 or poker since you have some influence to get a winning hand. As for betting, I stick to single chips. The payouts scale evenly with chip bets, so to me there's not much advantage in taking the added risk for that one amazing hand. The way I see it if I play one hand worth 10 chips and lose, I get nothing. But if I play 10 hands with 1 chip bets, likely I'll get a few winning hands and walk away with something. However, I'm no pro. If there's anyone else with advice, I'll gladly take it too.
I too am wondering this. I plan on conducting a long term experiment of tracking my amount of winnings to chips played per game over a long term period. That should give a decent average of bux to chips per game. The easiest to track will be slots, given that it has zero player input beyond tapping spin. Obviously the results of poker and black jack (21) will be much more subjective to a person's play style. Things like whether you choose to hold a pair of 4's or 3 clubs, or whether you choose to hit or stay on a 17. So those results will be much less accurate, but will assume that most people play with some sort of traditional strategy. I am interested to see a few things in the results. - Which game if any has the best win ratio? - Which game if any has the best profit margin? - Is it better to bet small or large, or is it a moot point due to law of averages? -How much are chips worth? (1 chip = ? bux = ? coins) If anyone else would like to track their own results I would love to compare the data. Let me know if you would like to help.
You sent me nothing but I tipped you anyway. It's really hard for newbies to TA forums to know/recognize other people. I recognize many names from PP & even 2 from PF (danjarus & LauraFitz4!) Be patient & if you reciprocate, some will repay the favor. You can also pick people at random in this forum who write that they tip back. As I mentioned before, just take a screenshot of each gift. Fast, easy, reliable way to remember. NB knows how to do Freemium right. That's why many of their games (e.g. Pocket Frogs has the longest thread here in TA). Always tipping back is a good way to keep virtual friends but the best way to keep a dev developing is by making a contribution via a token (no pun intended) purchase. It's your way of saying, "Wow, I love this game" in the real world. (<--And no, I don't work for NB) Therein lies a problem. In this TA forum, you'll hear about only TA groups. Me neither. But then again I don't expect to win anything. That said, TTV has a gambling aspect to it. People who are addicted to gambling may feel that when they bet chips (which they have bought), it's not real gambling for the visceral link between money & "real gambling" has been broken by the IAP exchange. All it would take would be some compulsive gamblers with wads of cash. Not a value judgment, just a thought. As more users join & the user base expands, it will be progressively more difficult for even some of the dedicated players to win anything.
Mojocuervo had a post linking to this site... http://wizardofodds.com/games/video-poker/strategy/jacks-or-better/9-6/simple/ Basically a prioritization list of which cards to hold.
Problem I awoke this morning & all my "Friends" were marked dark brown, as if I had already gifted them TODAY. Those who had gifted me after I went to bed, I gifted anyway. This has always worked correctly before & new additions today were beige until I visited/gambled at their tower. Is there some glitch somewhere? If not, at what time do the previous days' gifts register per time zone?
