Yeah, got the silver roof yesterday in my group. Not sure if I want to stay in the running or not. I mean, it's fun, but the reward after winning once is just fewer tokens than you spent to get there. And there's no possible way for me to hope to get the gold roof. Edit: I think maybe the gold roof should be for the first three or five groups, with silver being the next ten after that and bronze being the next twenty or something. That would make the gold roof more accessible without it being easy.

Sadly yes since all the beta folks have bigger towers than the non-beta folks. And thus then can generate more coins due to having more casino floors as well. So unless you want to spend some real dollars I don't see how one will get a gold rooftop anytime soon.
After a quick search on this thread I learned that dream jobs are more important than skills, right? What's the point of high skills?
Yeah that is indeed impossible, except you have a jailbroken or rooted device and a cheat (version) of the game. At #toucharcade the top player has 160k or so, followed by a lot with 50k or so. To reach that they must have used immense amounts of chips. A Royal Flush gives you 5k and a Straight Flush 1.5k. And the chances to get one of them are extremely rare. Furthermore the top player has the ridiculous amount of 104 floors. IMHO he can't have reached that by normal means... I hope they kick and ban those players because these cheating idiots are a real pain.
Yeah i agree. I'm just gonna give it a try anyway because I already have silver and bronze. I'll probably return to TA1 after. TA1 guys seem more active on here than the TA2 guys. PLus its good to tip each other in the same group.
I tried to figure it out and I think there is no use to update the skill, it's only a waste of money. If you already have the starred one, you just have to find the guy with lvl 9 dream job. For example, talking about starred guys, if you have a lvl 0, at the moment you won't get anything if you upgrade him with a lower than 9 guy. I'd like to know if you agree with me.

I've messed around more with trying to sync my ipad and phone. Over the weekend I had both on a cellular network and they synced flawlessly, close one and it would be ready on the other immediately when opened. As soon as I went back to a wireless network at home, the syncing between devices takes hours or more, hit or miss and more miss than hit. Even going back to cell, it's stopped syncing consistently. Network overload on their end? I've come to the conclusion that you just can't play on multiple devices with the current build. It's sad, because I loved how well disco zoo worked between devices, I never once had that go wrong. Hoping the next version will fix it, it's a fairly important part of mobile gaming these days. Wish they had a button you could push to force a save or at least tell you why it's not saving. 2F2M
I don't think we need to jump on a witch hunt just yet. Nimblebit seems to be on the ball with cheaters. If they got a royal flush while betting ten chips, that'd net them 50k in one go, and while very rare it is possible something like that could happen multiple times. And if they bought a bunch of bux, they could have built floors with them instead of coins (though that'd ruin the fun of the game, IMHO).
Skills give you a discount equal to their skill number - so a nine would be 9%. A dream job means they get twice the amount of stock for the same price, which is basically a 50% discount for the amount of stuff you get.
They can reach those level towers by being in the beta and soft launch in Canada. As I mention before, since they have such big towers, none of the folks who got the release candidate app can even get close to their tower levels any time soon. But there does seem to be something "fishy" about some of the players who can get those type of results everytime, namely in poker. So if they are cheating, I do hope those folks do get banned.
What discount are you talking about? Time? The more skill they have the less time they take to restock? The quantity provided by a lvl 0 and lvl 9 starred guy is the same. In that case they are faster we have to replace every single starred guy if we find a better level.
