Yeah, spending hundreds of chips to get in a top 30 for a mere 10,25 or even 50 chip reward risks to get old fast I guess. And the special roofs aren't particularly enticing either. Once TA1 has been in a top 10 (which was almost done this time already), and we all have bronze and silver, then what? You don't get two o the same roofs so... :eeek: I already have a lot of Bux after this event, scoring 18k, and I'm not sure how to spend them. I've upgraded all the floors to level 6, casino ones to level 7. I feel that if I play a few times a day, I don't need yet level 10 floors that have longer payouts. My elevator speed is 3.00, which looks fast enough for 17 floors. And cosmetics elevators/lobbies/floors seem a bit premature as I still have a lot of floors to build. More like an endgame. Why do you guys do with your Bux? Hoard them or spend them all?

Upgrades. Suites are all level 8, everything else level 6 for now. I try not to spend too many on rushing stocking, except for casino floors so that elevator drop-offs always return a chip.
Upgrades. Suites are level 10, casinos 7, everything else 4 working on 5. I also use them to quick load my floors the first time I turn the game on each day.

I got all my hotel suites to level 10. With 3 bitizens in there, that's a little over 25K when they cash in. Especially with my favorite VIP, Housekeeping. (Every time I get one, I keep thinking of Peter Griffin from Family Guy, Housekeeping! Housekeeping?) I'm working towards getting my casinos to level 10 as well, but they are each at level 8 now. If I had to do over I might have left them at 6, so that when I start a play session I could get them all full up for fewer bucks. But on the other hand, I think you might get more coins/minute for higher levels. If I ever get a mission to fill up a certain floor, I'll use bucks to get that done right away to get them chips!

Can somebody explain what the best way is to get the biweekly prize? I'm confused about the top 30 thing, and the winning club thing, etc...I was in #TOUCHARCADE but got nada out of it. Sorry for the nub question...I just want to win some prizes

Top 100 clubs get rewards after the 3 days tournament. Top 1 getbetter reward, rop 10 gets secondary reward and top 100 gets bronze reward. If you arein one of these clubs, you will get reward according to your own participation: if you are in top 30 members of your club, you will get full reward. If you scored some but you are not in top 30, you will only get 5 tokens. If you didn't score anything, you will get nothing. To score, you need to play the current casino minigame (it is dragon poker right now). Either you can play it in your own tower if you own it, or in any friend tower. Your score is the amount of green cash you won in the minigame during the challenge. That's it, can't explain it better So you need to add friends to find the correct minigame, and you need to spend all your tokens there. Don't go in the main toucharcade club except if you are ready to fight for a top 30 place
Not a nub question, since you were in TA, your team won the overall prize, but to get the special gold roof that goes with that, you had to be in the top 30 in TA. You would be better off switching to TA1,2,or3 and trying for a top 30 there and getting a silver or bronze roof if you can make top 30(smaller crew, easier to make top 30). Do not switch if you have a lot of swag in TA until the event ends as your points don't transfer with you. BTW try TA1, we could use the help.
