Well I have yet to get the roof or coins for being in the 8th rank club in the 14th position. Very odd.
Thanks for posting helpful tips, game is much more fun with Players Club. Add me: 28G5, have Dragon Poker as well.
Loving the game - has anyone had to use real currency yet? I haven't and don't feel like I'm missing out at all!! Thanks Nimblebit!! Will you be my friend? Code: 2D95 I ALWAYS TIP BACK
Fun tip on the missions that require housing three or more people: After you start the mission, all people that enter the elevator will be of the kind of people the mission-giver requested. As normal, they will request a floor for you to take them to. If they request a hotel floor, they will be housed on that floor and that will count toward the mission total. Here's the fun part. If it happens that the hotel floor is already full with three people when you bring the person to the floor, it will force the occupant with the least amount of time remaining to checkout immediately and replace him or her with the new person you brought up, resulting in an automatic checkout bonus depending on the level of the floor. Here's another thing that might be a glitch. Say there is someone already in the elevator before you accept the housing mission. After accepting the mission, new people in the elevator are changed to the type needed for the mission and have the trait of automatically moving into a hotel floor even if is full (not possible for regular elevator occupants). However, if there is someone already in the elevator when the mission starts, he or she will ALSO get that trait, but will not apply to the mission total. Because of the coins you get even after forcing someone to check out early, think of the person as an extra bonus. ESPECIALLY if the hotel floor is a high level. With this in mind it is recommended that you upgrade your hotel floors if possible when a housing mission appears and before you start moving people to the floors. Also, if you have a travel agent and this mission comes up, make sure you also use him first to fill a floor before moving people there, as the people you just checked in will immediately check out and pay you the rate for the floor after you move new people in. For a level 8 floor like I have, it's a relatively quick 16,800 coins if you have full hotel floors beforehand.
Did anybody get a new roof? I'm guessing that if you won a Player's Club roof of the same color of one you already had, you don't get anything new.
Since they are giving the type of roof based on where the club finishes, and TA1 was out of the top ten that meant no roof for me(already won the bronze). I thought the purpose of only paying the top thirty in each club was to encourage smaller teams, but unless they change something the only way to get a gold roof without buying it is to join TA and fight for a top thirty. I've been with TA1 for over a year and a half and refuse to do that.
I wonder if some people will get tired of working hard to get top 30 with only some chips as reward and decide to drop out, giving others a chance to reach top 30.
