Hello fellow toucharcaders. Loooooong time lurker first time poster. I really enjoyed the original TT. I maxed out all floors with 9-rated dream jobbers across the board. Look forward to trying to achieve the same thing here. I would love to be part of #toucharcade1. Anyone please feel free to add me: BXQO

If not having actual names for your friends is bugging you, you can do a forum search (make sure you check 'search entire posts'). I've figured out names for almost everyone who has been visiting my tower! :)

Long time lurker, and have added a lot of you. 5FF5 if anyone wants to return the favor.

I've loved all (ok, most) of niblebits games, but I'm worried this one might have me fizzling out early -- 232k to get the 12th floor seems like a heck of a lot, and I can't imagine the floors are going to get any easier.

Also, is anyone else having way more success with the blackjack games than slots and poker? The difference actually makes me question whether playing in the players club tourney is worth the loss...

Okay I mentioned about the poker odds a few pages back, and how I couldn't understand why there was a huge discrepancy between the leaders in our players club and those below #20, why didn't you guys straight out tell us there was a poker hand analyzer?! :D

Someone mentioned wizardofodds.com but didn't go into detail how it takes a lot of the guessing out of the ridiculousness of video poker. I almost fell asleep trying to scrounge through the walls of text on that site, long story short if you want to work video poker into your favor by playing your hands based on probability go to this link http://wizardofodds.com/games/video-poker/hand-analyzer/ enter your dealt hand and it'll return the odds against which cards you should discard. Made video poker a lot more fun, I was about to pull my hair out. Wont work from your phone by the way since its written in java.

Fun game. I was a fan of Tiny Tower, but this one seems to surpass it in almost every way. It could do with the customization options of Tiny Tower though, and being able to fire people from a job without evicting them would be nice. As well as a function that makes people want to go to hotel rooms more often than other floor when there is a vacancy in the room.

    Anyway, please add me: MRSK

I'm not sure how accurate a tracker is, though. I've gambled on hands that I wouldn't keep with normal Poker rules (only three Clubs, no face cards) and sure enough, the game "magically" decides to give me two more to complete the Flush.

People who have Pyramid Poker in their Tower and advertise it have an advantage, as well. I did that, and made over 100 Chips in Tips. Spent those on Poker in 10 Chip increments, got two Straights handed to me, that's 2,500 Bux right there.

That said, Poker is probably the worst of the three games to waste Chips on if you're farming for Bux - the game can only "cheat" in your favor so much.

Oddly, Slots seem to be the BEST - you won't win every time, but you should be averaging 15-20 Bux per chip, no skill necessary.

I think there are periods where the game decides to increase your luck% to stack the odds to your favor, and other periods where your luck is gone and you're playing with normal odds.

When I first started playing Poker I was earning bux like crazy and I was averaging about 50+ bux on per chip. Kept getting four of a kinds, full houses and flushes. Told my sister to try out poker and her luck was insane too.

However after playing TTV and gambling intensely for several hours, my luck completely died. Out of 50+ chips, my best set was a 3 of a kind. However the majority were either complete losses, Jack pairs or higher, or double pairs. Decided to stop gambling for half a day and my luck increased.

Has anyone noticed that you can see the edges of the floor that's being built around the construction banner? I was able to see the spotlights of the Bit Top Circus while it was under construction. I think that's a nice touch :)

At first I felt that way too, but once you upgrade your hotels and shops to a certain point (lvl 3 for stores boosted by dream job workers, lvl 7 and 9 hotel rooms which give out 4,288 coins per guest in 1h 45m and 7,088 in 2h 15 respectively), the coins start rolling in.

As for blackjack paying out better, I just had a string of 6 or 7 losses where the dealer was consistently getting 19s through blackjack so no dice, at least for me.

I'm in the #TOUCHARCADE3 club. Friend code is 3F3R.

I'm going to put this info into my signature when I have time to get onto the actual Touch Arcade site, but for now I'll repost it here. I have Pyramid Poker.

I just sprung for the $9.99 VIP package and I've got the New York roof, New York lobby, and glass lift. Man does it look sweet (especially the roof)!

I figured for all the fun I've been having, and all the hours I've already put into it, it wouldn't hurt to throw NimbleBit a tip for such a nice life killer. #

    Have fun everyone!

P.S. - If you're not a member of any club yet, join ours, we need your help to get into the top 10!

When you add someone as a friend, do you get added to their game too? Or is it completely one sided?

Wow, TA1 is in spot #11 and is trailing right behind #TA2 in 9th place.
Does anyone know who 6H6V is? They're first in TA1 with 20,000+ points.

Do you guys try to use dream jobbers applicants for the floors where you already have 3 DJers?
I replace one if the new DJer has a higher stat. If he hasn't, he's out.

I'm glad they got rid of the original Tiny Tower DJer Bux farming method. Where you took advantage of the Bux bonus of putting a new dream jobber in a floor, swapping them almost infinitely when you had a full tower.
This was very boring to do and yet I felt compelled to do it :D
