How is it possible that first place in toucharcade1 has 8000+ bucks won from poker and it hasn't even been 24 hours since the new event started? Is there some hack or trick to the poker game that I'm not aware of because it's near impossible to advance in this event playing with the moderate amount of chips a causal player can get.
Just for looks. Bought the VIP IAP to support and you get all elevators, roofs and lobbies, but speed is the same. Added someone from here to play in the contest, but can't remember who... I'm playing in #toucharcade but I think I'll change to ta1 or ta2 for the next one, because getting to the top 30 in TA is plain impossible... I'm 2BB3, in case anyone cares. On a side note, which casino games have been implemented? Poker, slots and 21? I'd love a roulette
I've got 4000 or so and have only been playing casually for about half the day- did a lot of yard work and church. It's totally possible! I only got a couple straights and a couple FH, bit those payouts were probably half my total. Love the social elements of this game!
Thanks for your input. Frankly, I don't expect to win much of anything for I don't play hours & hours a day. I'd be shocked to be in the top anything. A mere 5 chips is OK. Being the leader of the pack isn't my goal. I just want to enjoy myself. That said, I was kind of disappointed when I visited/played at 12 towers (whether or not they had the Pyramid game) & received zero visits in return. Sure, I don't have the Pyramid game but I thought reciprocation (so well done in Pocket Frogs) was also part of the game. Guess I was mistaken. Either this game is simply more competitive than PF or else people only visit their friends' towers. It isn't that I'm desperately in need of chips (I'm not), I would have appreciated some sort of acknowledgement. Will need to rethink my strategy.

I never played PF. The issue with this game and reciprocating is that the game doesn't make it easy. You have to either memorize or write down the code of the person that tipped you or have them already as a friend. Wish there was a button to add a friend or visit them if they tipped you. Ps. Sorry if I didn't visit your tower in return.
Yup. Got it. Thanks to you too! Btw, the reason why I was asking was bcuz there were elevators with a name such as 'Infini-Lift Lightspeed'. You would think this elevator went fast because of its name. ...Might as well be called 'Limited-Lift Normalspeed'.

Does upgrading the elevator motor do anything besides make it go faster? Like does it increase the tip amount you receive?
Sometimes when I go to people's towers for the daily chip gift, their name remains highlighted in the friends list. Anyone else having this problem? I don't know if the person got the chip or not so I revisit the tower and play one of the casino games (again) and when I return to the list their names are still not faded out. Edit: I figured out the problem, guess I was exiting out of the towers too quickly and it didn't register the visit.
