Opinions: If you had 100 chips, is it better to play 100 games at 1 chip each or 10 games at 10 chips each if you wanted the better likelihood to gain the most payout? Friends: 10XY
I got to the #30 place and got my prize. Phew, that was close, spent all the 150 chips hoping I would make it and I did. Hooray! I was in #toucharcade1 though. I wonder how many chips Lorena was getting from this event. edit: to the above, I got the exact same roof.
Over the extreme long haul (thousands of games) it will be a wash. As far as something as small as 10 spins no way to tell.
I got silver. Was rank #28 in TA2. If I had 100 chips, I think I would just bet 1. My reasoning is, there is no "max bet" bonus. In real casinos, some slots and video poker machines give you a bonus for betting max coins, or betting over a certain amount. In this game, the game simply multiplies the payout by your bet with no extra bonus. So if you bet 10 chips 10 times for a total of 100 chips... The max payout on slots for example, would be 50,000. But you would have to hit the jackpot on all 10 spins. We all know the odds of that happening is pretty low. However, if you bet 100 times with 1 chip, your max payout would be the same, except now you have given yourself more chances to hit the jackpot even if it is lower. On average, it seems that you would earn more on those 100 spins as opposed to risking it all on 10. Now if you had WAY more chips, like maybe 1,000, then I would definitely bet 10. My general rule is to bet 1% of your total bankroll. But, that's just my take on it. Maybe someone more gifted in mathematical odds could weigh in.
Any drawback to putting hotel floors above all the entertainment floors? Floors are randomly picked by bitizens right? My code: 7DHS (I also have Pyramid Poker)
Soooo... How exactly does player club work? How do I participate? How do I win? Friend: 50K2 Add me, and let me know when you do! I visit other casinos all the time, especially if you have a St Patty's Slots or a blackjack casino. For some reason, I tend to have the absolute best results at St Patty's slots. Not sure if others have the same experience, but I've own mad bucks there.
I like to put casino floors at bottom then hotel floors above them, then the rest. Reasoning is because fully stocked casino floors will generate a chip tip whenever you deliver a bitizen to them. Also having full hotel floors is good and knowing where they are to use the Book and Checkout VIPs is convenient. So now basically when I get a bitizen that wants a ride to the lower half of my tower, I know it's generally a good thing. To answer your question: No there's no drawback really. Friends: 10XY
Every 3.5 days, the "Event Game" (seen by tapping Menu, then Players Club, then looking at the top of the screen) changes and event scores are reset. The current game is Pyramid Poker. ... wait, I HAVE that game. [ 29YH ] You compete by selecting a Club. In the Players Club screen, tap on the green word that starts with a hashtag (#) and type in the name of the Club you want to join. (Example: #toucharcade, etc.) Once you've selected your club, simply play the current "Event Game." Every buck that you win by playing it is added to your ranking in the Club and your Club's overall ranking on the leaderboard. To "win," you have to place anywhere in the Top 30 of your Club, and the actual Club has to place in at least the Top 100 total score on the Global Leaderboard. If you fail to meet either of these criteria, you get 5 Chips for participating. If you're in the Top 30 in-club and your Club finishes above Rank #101, you'll get Chips and a Special Roof. The prize improves by Club Rank, but remember you have to place in the Top 30 within your Club or you won't get the roof! You can't just join a high-ranking club and ride your way to victory. (Note that last time the Roof that you won was Gold, Silver or Bronze, depending on your Club's finishing placement. #1 got Gold, #2-#10 got Silver, #11-#100 got Bronze.)

Question : why don't I see the name of some clubs? Is it because they didn't load on my device, or just single player's club (allthough I doubt it considering the scores), or hackers?
What's everyone's strategy with hotel floors? I'm thinking about upgrading them as much as possible, since they are the hardest (or more annoying) floors to fully stock. This way, whenever I get a guest in them, the profit is higher. Any other thoughts?
Hey visark, I believe it's because nimblebit wants to personally approve the names of the clubs. Since you could type ANYTHING in that field they probably don't want any offensive names on the leaderboard for the world to see. I seem to recall something like that from nimblebits twitter feed.
