^. a) Split And b) Double down (when you double your bet (so pay an extra token) and the next card you recieve has to be the final card. If you beat the dealer, the amount you win is larger (more than double)
Nice one. Meanwhile... after clocking up over 7000 bux at the Players Club, I learned: It's not worth clocking up over 7000 bux at the Players Club for chips the bellhop can find behind the sofa! It's all good clean fun though.
Can anyone explain to me how all this players club stuff works? How do I participate, how do I do good? What do I get? I never have the game that is in the event, guessing my total bux i get from that game during the event are what counts if I ever have one of them. Am I better off joining a big group or do you still get rewarded being on your own?
If you don't have the game, play a friend's; that's what I did for Spooky Slots. But as you can see from my post above, the rewards don't seem to be spectacular.
I was just gonna come post a question to confirm how to earn bucks. I'm going to guess there will be more to it in later builds? Cuz that seems low.
I've been playing for a few days, here are my views: - there seems to be a bug when loading. You get a blue screen when you are connected to wifi but you're not yet online, eg when you're in a public wifi that requires log in. Disabling wifi makes the game start - for those that do not know poker, it'd be good to know what a straight flush...etc is. My fiancée does not know for example. - I'm finding winning in poker much harder than say slot machines. I'm probably crap at poker - I love the fact that level upgrades are exponential. Much better than in TT - In TT, I liked the fact that upgrading your elevator and it's style when together. The style now is just customisation. Don't think I'll be touching that yet, maybe later in the game. - I liked how the role of dresses in TT helped you find people. It was fun trying to figure out a floor's business and finding a matching dress. In Vegas, seems like the bitizen' dresses are not that relevant except for customisation. In fact, it might hinder looking for people if you're bititzen's are dressed in the same way of the people that you are looking for... - I like the fact that suites generate money too. Trying to get bititzen's to land there could be a pita. Thanks that you can get people in. Btw, wouldn't it be nice if the bitizen's tha you could put in a suite, when you pay bux, would come from the lobby? Right now they appear to come from nowhere - I don't know what to do with people in the lobby tbh. As said in previous comment, if you could pay bux to put those guys in suites, that's be great, cos that way you'd get some rotation in the lobby and you'd get VIPs. Otherwise, I don't want to kick them out yet cos I dunno their dream job...
Obviously, there's a flaw with my suggestion of the suite guys, if you bring them from the lobby, what do you do when the rent has expired? I guess more rotation in lobby will happen as game progresses. At the beginning, I'm focusing on good discounts on floors and make money quickly Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to make someone unemployed but I guess it's part of the design of how bitizens come in and out The missions and bitbook are hilarious btw! Love the game btw!!!
I'm loving the game so far!! I think it will be better if there was a menu for choose the username and when someone add you only need to put the code. I'd like to see different stocks on the floors like in TT, not always the same.
Hey guys just popping in. Don't have time to address everything but... Will be adding more players when a new build is ready (we always need more people to test the start of the game after an update). We will be adding more prizes to the players club (special roofs you can't even buy) No limit to floor upgrades at the moment. But we will probably need to cap them at some limit The blue screen is a beta login system and won't be in the final game.
Mentioned this previously but they did not want a user name where people can put offensive things in ect, if I don't know who it is all mine are just called random1, random2 ect I like the stocks being the same I didn't see the point in it in the other games in working out which had better stock and were better to upgrade first because it was more profitable, at least this way it's fair. Also to what someone else said about the lobby, unless someone is a 9 and a dreamer matching the same colour I just boot them out. Even when full I always keep 1 spot empty and pick people I'd rather keep then based on looks or what they will look like in costumes. I try to have a variety of looks rather than all the same but some I do not like....but for those of us not OCD about that kind of thing it should be even easier just to get the skills right.
I have to disagree, 5 would be way too short. In TT there were stock times upwards of 15hrs, so lvl 50 seems more like a good cap!
Maybe 5 isn't a good cap but 50 would be insane... Getting a floor from 5 to 6 already costs 500 bux! There would need to major balancing for level 50.
I would if I could but I wasn't sent a code. Earlier in the thread the devs said they would use participants in this forum for beta testers. Guess I got overlooked. When I eventually d/l & install game, I will definitely add you, ste86uk, AKA, 10FG.
I do agree there will need to be some sort of cap for the max level of each floor. I'd base it off the time to stock or how long the items will last for. I do like to log in multiple times a day but then getting the timers longer helps for when in bed or work ect Oh and my code is 10FG for anyone that would like it.
