I've not noticed much difference, but aside from Big Spender the VIPs are getting fairly pointless now anyway. Construction takes three hours off a construction that takes forty hours, so it's barely noticeable. The Delivery Man is alright but I never really worry about stocking time. The Celebrity has barely any effect on anything and the Real Estate person only works if they turn up when I have an apartment to fill, which is hardly ever. So yeah, if they have cut down on them it doesn't really matter. I seem to be getting loads more of the findabitizen game though.
Only on floor 5 I am only on floor 5 but really like this game. Got it when it came out but only started playing a couple of days ago. Wish I could control the notifications more. i.e. Don't notify me only from 8 AM to 10 PM. Also wish that there was a facebook integration with friends. Not just gamecenter. Really addicting.
To be honest, I'd rather have VIPs that cut down the wait times for things marginally versus a bitizen. I have 75 floors and 45 of them are businesses, and most of my apartments are full so getting that meager monetary bonus for ferrying bitizens isn't that enticing for me. Lol, no worries. To answer your question, a bitizen with all 0's is pretty much worthless. Unless you can place them in their dream job.
Yeah, I mean, even that three hours off your construction is nice when you've got 2H59M left or something, but I'm just saying they get less effective the higher you go. Construction workers feel like they should cut the build time by 25% or something so their usefulness scales with the tower. The monetary bonus for ferrying someone to the 75th floor is probably better than you get from the celebrity as well!
Yeah, when I called them "dreamjobbers" I meant that even though they had 0's across the board, I had placed them in their dream job. So I guess you're saying that they are indeed worth holding on to no matter their stats.
Yes, a bitizen with 0 aptitude in its dream job is better than a non-dream job bitizen in that same job with a 9 aptitude. The only thing better than a 0 aptitude dream jobber is another dream jobber with higher aptitude.
I love this. So addicting. My only frustration is when a V.I.P. is useless to me. I always get the Construction guy when I have no construction... Maybe an update so when we're transporting V.I.P's we can see stats of our stores? The celebrity and rich guy are sometimes wasted on an almost empty store. Maybe that's just part of the fun though! Haha
Yes! I like that!! My suggestion: when you have items you can accelerate, construction/stocking, I would like to see incremental use of bucks to accelerate instead of an all or nothing type thing (like in Pocket Frogs). Thanks Marsh Bros for another amazing game!
If you want to accelerate a fifteen hour construction by seven bux' worth, just do it when there are seven hours left.
I just encountered a bug that pissed me off. I just went through my apartments to fill them out with bitizens, and I kept those where I could put them in their dream jobs. When I evicted all my current dream jobbers with lower stats to replace with my new, higher level dream jobs, I found that the game completely changed ALL my potential bitizen's dream jobs! So not only did I lose a ton of dream jobbers that will severely slow down my stock quantities, I now have a ton of bitizens to evict since all their dream jobs changed to business that I do not currently offer. Wtf.
i just woke up today, and for some reason tiny tower won't open for me....seems like a bug or something since it happened to tilt as well
Not much to say about this game, I can´t even tell why it is so addicting, yet it is. Love the pixel art, the BitBook comments and overall style. I don´t purchase many games these days, so a Freemium Game is a welcome addition. You guys got inspired by "Little Computer People" from the C64 era? Anyhow, add me on Gamecenter, my nick is tblrsa.
Okay, wtf? So yesterday this game wouldn't start at all even after a reboot and over 50 MB of RAM. Today I didn't reboot and only had 23 MB of RAM, and it loaded instantly.
I've had a weird problem twice. The reload time for certain items in two different businesses did not change over time. It kept saying 4 hours 33 minutes and remained that way for hours. Both times it happened the reload times were rather long. Is this a bug and has it happened to anyone else? Just in case there was some ysteious memory issue, I rebooted the iPhone. Will now observe to see if it happens again.
