Does that mean that your kinda abandoning the three tier stock we already have where stock 1 and 2 are relatively low and stock 3 is in the thousands and starting with all three tiers as fairly low, then upgrading to make all 3 relatively good etc?
I just got three yesterday, so for me they are working. They all look normal for the Toy store 180 for tier 1 (dream job) 550 for tier 2 (dream job) 450 for tier 3 (non dream job)
Sad to say this game has become painful. Why? Because I now have 86 floors, 11 in each category but only 9 Food shops. These include all the so-called higher end Foodies, which are not all that high end. So, because the game requires balanced categories, I will now presumaby "have to" wait about six days to achieve balance, about 2 days for each shop and 2 more for a new residence to provide workers. And the new shops will be crappy ones. I don't mind waiting for long built times or long restocking times for really good businesses. But I very much mind the waste of time energy, and game resources to end up with cheapo shops with meager payoff. Note:For players who get a kick out of dressing bitizens and decorating, I understand that the point I'm making might be irrelevant, and that's cool.
I'm hoping that Nimblebit updates this soon. I am at 45 floors and i've lost a lot of interest in the game simply because of the tedium.
Do we have to balance the store types? Will it affect my game if I don't build any food shops? I have 33 floors but not one is a food store. I did have 2 but I got rid of them and can't say I noticed much difference.
re: Fixed crash on loading on older devices I had this problem on my 2nd gen. I've tried rebooting the ipod - but this didn't help. The cause of this is that the old 2nd gen can't handle more then about 35 floors of open shops. too many calculations to perform. It also crashes when scrolling down the bitizens list too quickly while it is adding up how many dream jobs you have. The solution is to wait it out (or set the clock forward) so that most of the floors have sold out. Then - when you do get it going, only stock your 30 best floors with stock and leave all the others unopened. I have abandoned all my Green and Yellow shops and just deal with my perfectly staffed shops in the other colours. It means you have much less money, but at least you can keep playing. Good luck. Was just able to fill a store with 3 dream jobs, and was kinda disappointed not to receive any extra bonuses for accomplishing it. And I think there should be one. Can't think of any definite bonus, but probably a fourth product, or maybe an upgrade in the look of the store, or maybe additional items to customize your tower more. These are just random ideas. But I really think there should be a reward for completely filling a store with happy employees.
Read a page back. I'm noticing way less VIP'ers recently. And I play long (as I'm nursing my twins.. Excellent time fluffer!). I keep hoping for my construction VIP, but I'm not getting much in the way of anything lately! Is this a function of increased tower size perhaps? I hope not! It's kind of what happened with PF the more I played and the higher the level, less presents, specifically red ones.
Next update date I did read a page back and it did not answer my question. I have the 7/19 update and am wondering when the next one will be released.
my wife and I enjoy so much of Tiny Tower, I am on floor 78, and my wife on 70. we played in different style, focus on different things. we both like the new 1.21 update, especially you can name your store. make the game more fun; the bitizens sorting function is really big help and save time. would like to make a suggestion to Nimblebit. add DreamJob as part of the GameCenter achievement, maybe like reach 100 of dreamjob, 50 dreamjob ...etc giving someone who maintain Dreamjob as part of the game, have a goal to aim for. thank you.
