Music bug is still there. You know the music stops once the song plays out, don't you? C. Hannum: you may be right about the pattern with notifications. I can't quite work it out. I think you get one notification only when you stay in the app and sleep the device, and it uses your user-set name. If you exit the app, however, you get one notification outside the app, using the default name, and then a second when you switch to the app, using a user-set name. I haven't fully confirmed this though. My last few notifications have all been user-named. I just got interrupted writing this with a user-named alert. Hmmm.
I'm pretty sure most people won't care about the Bux farming disabled. I'm one of those who don't, and I have to say the new update is really cool. I hope you make updates more often!
Yes, I do know, was merely pointing out the game sounds were missing still when you start from the mulitasking bar. Shutting the game down and clearing it seems to restore all sounds. I just got two notifications - one saying that I received one Tower Bux for restocking a floor and the second saying I got a 160 coin bonus for restocking the floor. Now I did not update to the latest latest update (the one from a few minutes ago) yet and not sure if this is gone; but until this point I have received notifications for everything - it is how I knew if I had something else on that floor to need to restock. Despite the sound every once in awhile bug, every single time I re-enter the game; from the multitask bar, visiting friend's towers, from the menu even, no matter where - I get a notification welcoming me back telling me how many coins I earned while I was gone. What notifications other than the confirmation to restock a floor are now missing?
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it I'm no longer asked if I am sure if i want to stock an item.
Two quick things: 1) I'm honestly not trying to beat a dead horse so if you don't want to hear anything more about the bux farming fiasco, please ignore. The thing about it for me was that it was never about farming. I've never traded in bux for money. In the last few weeks, I've never gone over 20-25 bux. I have 61 floors and still don't have the last elevator upgrade. The thing I liked about the 3 bux was that it enabled me to sit and play however long I wanted, as I had a steady source of income for move-ins, stock sells, construction acceleration, etc. I'm surprised noone has mentioned yet the increase in tip rate? Maybe it's a good compromise? ie. if I'm at least ferrying passengers regularly I can generate bux a little closer to what I could before? 2) I have to say that the latest update really sounds like it would at least be WORTH losing the bux farming, whereas yesterday it didn't. Decisions decisions. . . .
Yep. Bux coming in significantly quicker, though I'll leave it to the forum analysts to do the time/income graphing. You even get some free bux as a sweetener for upgrading, according to the latest popup...
I love the no confirmation for restocking. Having 50+ levels it really speeds up the game a lot! Any plans to have a button to restock all levels at once?
2nd day playing. I just made $60 000 from a big spender, YES! He bought all the high end cars. I had 20000 of them because I had 3 employees working there with 9's and as their dream job (due to the previous bug). Was able to build 3 floors ASAP (up to 14 now). I haven't been around long enough so I don't know if $60000 is a big deal, but it was to me.
Who has the new businesses data? I can update the business spreadsheet if you PM it to me. (Yes, I know a lot of you have requested to share it. Per my previous comments...I will not share it since I've had issues with shared docs on google docs before. People change the data by accident or on purpose so that it's inaccurate.)
Keep in mind you didn't make 60,000 exactly, you made 60,000 minus your stocking costs (10,000x0.6-27% or 4380), so your actual profit was 55620 exactly what you would have made over the next 41 hours or so from those cars. Further, keep in mind that you've incurred at least a new 11+ hours of downtime before your business will be able to sell cars again, further making the gains not as dramatic as it seems. It's a gain, it's just not as big a gain as people often think. Well, when you have 14 floors, it is. When you have 64 floors, not so much
Nice game, I'm enjoying a lot ... It's so good I may have to delete it for the good of my health I would like to see some historical stats though, a history of what has been sold and how fast, daily profits, number of visitors ... It would be nice to be able to see the tower growing in ways other than the it's height. Nothing too detailed though. It would also give the stats gurus something more to chew on Good work NimbleBit.
There is no change to tipping rate that I can tell (certainly nothing mentioned in the notes). Maybe some people have had a good run here or there, but certainly nothing I've seen playing on and off all day indicates there's a change.
Do we still get bux for bit birthdays? I haven't seen one in a long while. Also I had this great idea for a way to spend bux. I call them auto restocking machines. They would be pretty expensive and he cost would depend on the type of shop and which level of stock. But once you installed it, it would handle the stocking and purchasing of that item automatically from that point on. It would take care of a lot of the food shops and put and end to the beer nuts stocking. Since they would be so pricey, you wouldn't be able to buy many, but the hightest level players would have a few of them to automate some of the tedious floors and maybe even one or two red or purple floors.
I did save 41 hours, and since the delivery VP guy helped me out several times to make the original 10000 cars, I saved about 11 hours then too, also I am fully stocked in the other lower cars that will not sell out in 11 hours, so all things considered, it was pretty dramatic. Obviously I get your point that $60G is not a big deal later on, but when you've only played the game for less than 2 days, and you save 41 hours, that's good stuff. Another notification, I must go.
Quick question, is there anyway to fix the Tower not updating in friends list bug? Buddy told me about the time forwarding trick, used it once, realized how game breaking this was (i was already at level 55) and pledged never to use it again. Unfortunately, this broke my stocking time, so I had to go forward in time again to fix it. Now, my tower remains at 55 even though I'm legitimately at level 61. >.<
