whats the point of hanging on to the 100 bucks? you do realize the faster you make them into coins and create businesses with them the faster those buxs are earning you money in the game world, thus earning you more than if you held onto them
Are you new to this thread? I've run simulations of the economic development of this game running out into late August. I'm well aware of the economics. Bux cost me real time. Either through playing the game frequently and/or long enough at a sitting that I rack up the triple stocking bonuses, waldo missions, and elevator tips for bux or in exchanging real money for them. Coins and floors cost me essentially nothing. I can check in for two to three minutes four times over the day and make hundreds of thousands of coins. I cannot accumulate 100 bux except through about five hours of cumulative play. The coins I would get from converting those bux are about as valuable in the long run as farting into the wind (and wouldn't even pay for 1/4 of a new floor). However, if I decide that I suddenly want to rearrange my entire tower into a new aesthetic layout, well, no amount of coins or floors on my tower are going to help me, but that nest egg sure will.
Nice update, and very timely. Got a strange music bug though - when switching back to the app, music starts playing even though sound is unchecked in settings. Also: notifications don't consistently use my user-set names: just had a notification about my Night Club, which switched to calling it The PARADOX (my user-set name) when I switched to the app.
NP. Just caught another one - and edited my post while you replied: notifications seem to vary between using the default business names and user-defined names. Great little game BTW!
Nvm reset device. Now it works again xD Love hoe you don't have to confirm when you restock. Speeds it up a bunch!
Whoa, just noticed the confirm-free restock. People will now start complaining that you can't Undo it. EDIT: Can anyone else confirm getting multiple notifications, varying between default business names and user business names?
I can live with the confirm free stocking, if I misclick the wrong item I'll live, but I do admit to objecting to the lack of confirmation for coin bonuses from triple-stocking. That particular confirmation actually speeds up your stocking because it's a one-click no real focus of attention needed statement there's nothing else to do at that business, move along. Now you always have to pay enough attention to each floor to see if everything is in stock or not. Hardly a game breaker, but I would have preferred if the click-pendulum hadn't swung quite this far on this latest update.
Not sure I understand what you're describing. I did experience the following, which might be it : The first time I got a push notification from a business I gave a custom name to, it was still using the default name. After that, though, it always used the custom one. It's like the list of names the push system uses isn't updated to the custom variants until after it gets triggered by a business.
The game is crashing on startup everytime since the latest update today, even after a device restart.
Getting two odd bugs: 1. It automatically restocks when I press the item, instead of me allowing to confirm. (Not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but if it's the former, I prefer to confirm) 2. When I stock fully, I'm not getting a fully stocked bonus on any of my stores. I too had the crash bug, but once you reboot the phone, it works fine.
If I reinstall will I still have all of the floors I bought? Keep in mind I'm on an old device, so I don't have Game Centre
As far as I know both behaviors are intentional because you are getting the coin bonuses, just not the popup. You only get a triple stock bonus popup when it's a bux.
Could have sworn I got a pop up of a fully stocked floor either way -- maybe I was getting a bux every time! Anyway, I didn't update to the NEW new update yet as I just saw it was out as I opened this thread. i was coming here to say that the sound bug from the very first is still present. You go to the game from the multitasking bar and sometimes the in game sounds don't play - the music plays, just not the coin sounds, or the ding dongs when you go to a certain floor or the restock sounds - game sounds. Maybe this is fixed in this new one? I am hesitant to update to the next one since people are reporting crashes and OTHER problems now...
