*Suggested new feature: mass media campaign (requires GC and friends). Lures customers in friends' buildings to yours, shut down a certain market or store Industrial espionage: increase friend's building's item/construction time, decrease stock item amount, increase restock costs Unfair trading practices: in collaboration with a friend, increase sale price of items in both buildings for limited amount of time (cost bux)
Just wondering, are the developers planning on doing anything with SkyBurger? It's always hovering in the top 50 free games and there's LOTS of potential in that game.
Seriously! I LOVE sky burger, but it has no campaign mode, which it so desperately needs. Play one on one off game center live (maybe two buns one screen and I try to get the burger done first by stealing your layers or something)
Right. A campaign mode could be one of many things. They could make it so that you can progress through multiple restaurants. Once you have made enough money at one, you can buy another. In addition to restaurants, you can use the money you've earned to buy upgrades and perks, or to design your restaurants, expand it, and make it look like how you see fit (a little bit of a Tiny Tower influence here ). Maybe you can unlock secret burgers, ingredients, and a host of other things. Honestly, the possibilities are endless- the basics of Sky Burger provide a very solid foundation for a highly addicting game; it already is pretty fun to play every now and then!
I keep noticing the same 5 or so Bitizens being picked for Wheres Waldo. Not all the time, but about half the time. I know which floor theyre on now without even having to look. Maybe just odd coincidence?
I'm experiencing that as well. Also, they tend to be the most elaborately (sarcasm) dressed bitizens of the whole tower. Oh and I've switched off notifications completely. 23 stores of constant restock notices makes it impossible for me to do anything else for more than 3 minutes.
Thanks for this. I started populating that other one i found for my own reference and gave up because there is so much data. What i did do though is add another 3 columns on the far right in order to track my Bitizen dream job distribution so i can quickly see which businesses and jobs i want to look out for. I also gave the businesses i actually have a background color
Depends on your strategy. I think the people who are trying to quick sell through long stocking merchandise are probably just breaking even or even losing money although I confess I haven't crunched enough numbers to verify this. I use the male shopper (big spender) and the female shopper (increased customers) for opening up product slots in the quick stocking food businesses which gives me more towerbux from triple stock bonuses. I much prefer the female shopper to the male who is pretty much worthless in my opinion for anything other than hopefully selling off a 1 minute restock item for a few coins so I can try for the towerbux bonus. At least she is increasing revenue in the short term without guaranteeing a subsequent downturn until the product is restocked. I'm trying to minimize the micro involved in keeping a building running, anything that just eliminates a product from my stock is not helping with that goal
Thanks. You seem to do more deep thinking about this game, and I've found some of your analyses helpful. But for this kind of VIP I think my choices are of little consequence.
Can't seem to get the achievements for having 15 residents or 13 floors. Anyone else experiencing this?
I think that goes for both of the shoppers Her bonus in terms of boosting revenue is so tiny in the grand scheme of things that, yes, it's a "bonus" but you're not going to notice it at the end of the day. His "bonus" isn't all that either (I crunched the numbers since that post ). Not taking the aptitude or dream job bonuses into account, it takes 4 seconds to make an item, 7.5 seconds to sell it, and nets an average of 1.4 coins. So when you instantly sell the items with the VIP, your average net profit (taking the lost sales from forced restock time into account) per item is only 0.65 coins per item sold. So either will increase your revenue at the end of the day, but neither is dramatic once your tower reaches a certain size. Even if you do something like pull off the perfect storm of big spending something like full stock of medical tests (15,000 tier 3 items), your actual net bonus would only be 16,800 coins, and when I'm already up to floors costing more than 300,000 coins, I'm not impressed .
?????? TRIPLE??? I tend to check the conditions of my stores depending on which of the 2 VIPs I get. I send the celebrity to stores with either: 1. high remaining volumes of stock so she could just increase some revenue or a store with 1 item nearly sold out and the other 2 have significantly more stock for the low stock item to restock before they run out. 2. Big spender - I dump him on stores with 3 low stock items so hopefully the store won't close while 1 item is restocking.
