Wow, I did the same thing yesterday and today. Now only two of my employees don't have dream jobs, out of 48 total available jobs. My bitizen screen is almost full of green faces Regarding to the crash, either play with internet connection or no GC. Works for me. My GC is gunxsword. My tower is probably a bit 'hardcore' in that I actually adopt a strict structure. Floors are grouped and arranged in order that they appear in the status menu. Employees are color coded to their store type (retail - purple etc) to speed up process of finding them in the mini game.
Great game! I have a question regarding the moving time forward bug though... what happens to our towers if we're in a daylight savings time zone or if we're traveling and forced to adjust our clocks on our devices to the local time zone?h would that ruin our current tower? or is this a negligent problem if my device is constantly connected to the internet? thanks!
I think the main problem is just with stocking/construction times, so if you don't have any of those active when you make the change it wouldn't affect it. Also, the time/date bug gets worse the further into the future you go, so changing it by just one hour would probably only add one more hour to your times. Unless of course the game already has something to accomodate daylight saving.
When you move a floor, does it insert it between two other floors or does it swap with a floor? If it's the second, wouldn't it get costly constantly moving floors around everytime you got a new floor?
Will we get a option for firing a employee from his job? different from evicting entirely. It will make organising and moving people more....sane as the numbers increase. [EDIT] Another request, how about being able to move people from one apartment to another? Some of these guys just don't get along... =]
OMG don't you just hate it when you get a lot of a few dream jobs that you don't want, but the one you NEED never comes??? I've spent like 40 bux trying to find someone with bowling alley dream job but all I've gotten are people who I don't need or already have Evil coding! Anyway, wish me luck... hopefully I can find someone with my remaining 19 bux... *EDIT, 2 minutes and 2 tower bux later: I GOT IT!!! Bowling alley dream job and 9 skill level! Conclusion: post your rants and hope you'll get the employee after your post
I have got an achievement bug. Achievement have 15 residents, i got 25 and the achievement is stuck at 93% and is unearned.
Do you mean firing employee without evicting them? If yes you can do that. Just select jobs and then give them 'no job'.
Lmao yeah had that happened I would just fire the person with the lowest number on the dream job hire the new one to get the 3 tower bux then just keep looking for the one I need and none of the bitizens I've come across like racquetball wtf lol . It is worth it to get everyone their dream job for more money and double the amount of supplies you get
Oh, it all makes sense to me now. This whole time I thought the "move" option swapped two floors (I never used it), and I was wondering why people were asking about tower layouts. Thanks for the answer.
How can you get 5000000 towerbucks? Is that a bug/cheat? I've just checked the first ranked player on gamecenter and he has that much towerbucks and even more gold...
If anyone is looking to add people to track their progress with, my ID is jasohill. I am not interested in hacking/cheating. I'd rather add folks that play the game according to the rules.
Pocket Frogs had nothing built in for daylight savings. In the spring it actually was a bonus - sped things along for an hour. In the fall - well you just add an hour to things. I hate that the time hacking has made people worry about normal life - traveling to time zones is going to make you wait or speed things up by the appropriate amount of hours and then the reverse is going to happen on the way back. Since the game has it's own internal saving and checking system it messes that up a little sure, but by and large we aren't talking about the time hackers. Man I see such less of a need for it in this game but hackers are going to hack I guess and feel empowered so the extreme hacking that will screw up your game is say you build a floor for 10 hour construction time - you set you device ahead to construct it. Then you speed through in smaller increments the production of products to get more coins to get another floor. This time you have to set your device even further in time. Suddenly you find yourself in the year 2100. The problem is if you ever want to return to the present on your clock - the floors think they were built sometime in the future so they tack on not only the amount of real time it takes to construct but all the days between now and that day to construct. That is why there are times of 52,000 hours or something. If you are willing to sacrifice play time for a bit while traveling you can keep things on the up and up. I would not worry about daylight savings time - it's an hour. But honestly why are people hacking THIS game? I mean is the race to the top that urgent? I really don't understand the reason - such impatience to potentially mess the game up forever? Pocket Frogs people that did this had to start over (some of them) there was no recovering from it, so why take a chance?
Last time I checked the top 30 players were all obvious hacks (it's probably worse now). Do the math: I've done enough playing to see that, on average, you only get about 1 towerbuck free for every 3 minutes actually playing the game. So with a game that launched ~120 hours ago, that's, at most, about 2500 towerbux from sitting there playing 24/7. That leaves them either having purchased the remaining 4,997,500 towerbux via IAP for a real money cost of about $149,925 USD or having cheated. And just in case you're ready to assume it's a billionaire with OCD , consider that it would probably take you about 40 hours of doing nothing but buying towerbux at the speed the app store processes IAPs to buy that much
the achievements are definately glitchy here. both the 15 residents and the bulid 13 floors achievemnts havent unlocked for me and i have 15 residents and 18 floors. in game centre they are stuck on 93% and 92% respectively.
Full Stock Question Which factor determines how much reward you get for fully stocking an enterprise?
I like crunching numbers . I'm trying to figure out a way to find the maximum possible legit building, but the floor price increases aren't following any super simple formula that I've noticed so estimation is the best I can do. Still, roughly speaking it looks like you've got 960,000 coins hypothetically possible for every 24 hour period (assuming you're playing 24/7) and the max possible revenue from stores is easy enough to calculate based on height. That allows a rough approximation of what the maximum is anyone could have gotten through simply playing the game and/or even sane IAP purchasing: at this stage, anybody with a tower higher than 50 floors is in all likelihood a cheater, certainly it's safe to say that anyone with a tower higher than 60 floors didn't get there by legitimate means (which means the top 100+ players, good grief).
Bugs A couple of bugs for Nimblebit. The icons above bitizen's heads after buying an item are reversed. Generally it's no big deal except that the arcade's "1 up" product looks like "1 pu". The little ding notifications are going off after the game has been closed and shut down from the magic bar. Even after a reboot of the machine. The last two nights in bed, after plugging my iPad in to charge (iPad restarts when charging) my wife and I close our eyes and hear "ding!" Oh and Nimblebit, we really enjoy the game.
