Mine are still going strong. The people that are having issues Have you Made a new tower (at any time) Play across two devices? I remember from the beta when we all started our second tower the achievements stopped working.
I've been on the same tower the whole time, on one device. All of the achievements I qualify for are stuck at around 92/93%.
I'm ready to spend 6 bucks to support the devs for making the most addictive game I've played yet. Though I'm not sure if I've demolished too many floors because my 23rd floor build time = 11 hours!? Can someone please tell me that they have the same build time for the same floor so I can comfort myself? Also, will the dev be adding some feature that allows you to sort the bitizens according to their job rating, dream job or employment status?
Achievements are working fine for me. I've only played the game on once device, been signed into wifi the whole time, and not deleted and restarted the tower. I had 10 hours build time for 21st floor, so 11 would be right for 23rd. If I delete a store or apartment, what will the build time for the replacement be? Will it be eg 30 mins if it's on floor 2, 1hr floor 3 and so on, or will they all take 10 hours now because I have 21 floors?
The build times are based off your highest floor. So even though it is on floor 2 it would be based off your highest floor (example if you had 23 floors it would be 11 hours)
Regarding achievements, nope, one device, one tower, stock iOS 4.3.3. But all the floor ones are stopping counting 1 away from completion. The bitizen count one worked for the first one and I'll be dinging 50 bitizens before I go to bed so I expect that to work*. Hopefully the update will straighten things out. * Edit: Nope, did the same thing. The 50 bitizen achievement stopped at 98% (49) but the 100 bitizen achievement continued to tick upward properly, DOH
To be honest, I don't know. The "no-duplicates" thing came from the developer himself, so that part should be true. What's the tallest tower we've seen? If we're talking 80 businesses and 50 apartments plus lobby that's 131... I have no idea what happens if you can keep building past that.
If I was to start a "Best Dressed BitCitizen" Would that be to much? Since there is already this thread and the "Tips" thread?
I suspect - cheaters who have already managed to break the game aside - that they'll have updated the number of businesses and apartments for the non-cheating world well ahead of any chance of "roll over" duplication. There's a definite asymptotic growth curve going on here and I suspect that it won't be long before even the most obsessed will be lucky to be adding more than a few floors a week. Even if you sit there all day long doing nothing but ferrying passengers and keeping everything stocked you'd probably not be able to net more than 400,000 from converting towerbux to coins. Then each business operating at peak efficiency yields about 30,000/day. So let's say you've got 80 floors (50 businesses and 30 apartments) and you're so obsessive you never miss a restock, that's still only 1.5 million/day from businesses at that point, and based on what we've seen of the growth of pricing, a new floor should cost somewhere circa 1.7 million at that point. So, by floor 80, to add even one new floor a day you'll have to either be constantly playing, or spending $30 real money a day to even add a single floor a day. They've probably worked out very well what their update schedule has to be to keep the gerbil wheel rolling
After your tower gets big enough it isn't worth converting your bux to coins, your tower makes all the coins you will need and you can spend your bux on making things happen faster. I think I am on the last converting bux to coins because after the floors exceed the 100,000 coin mark it is better to let your tower make you the coins and just speed everything along, or move bitizens in with them. Just my opinion, but that is how I play right now. This morining before I went to bed i bought a new floor for 60,000 and before I leave for work I will be ready to add another at 66,150, and I have not converted any bux yet.
Wasn't my point, which is that your growth curve will slow regardless of strategy because floor prices increase faster than business/renter/towerbux conversion income (although since I have been converting bux since I finished my elevators, could still easily pay for my renters though I haven't, and will be adding floor 27 before I go to bed, I question the validity of your opinion ). Adding a business floor, assuming perfectly optimal conditions, won't make you more than 25,000 to 30,000 coins a day (and, in practice, probably considerably less). Adding an apartment won't make you more than 500 coins a day. No matter what your strategy is, there's a point where tower growth will slow to a crawl no matter what, that's all I was saying. With 130 different possible floors out of the gate, they've got a while before legit players will be hitting any limits.
While I am used to people questioning my opinion on this forum it happens a lot, I do agree with you that later or sooner that curve it going to go down and it will take a while to get a new floor. But there comes a time where converting tower bux unless you have a lot (over 100) isn't worth it anymore since you will be pulling over 200,000 a day in without even playing much. (think of 50 business making 30,000 a day that is still 1,500,000 coins each day, granted that is a perfect situation and not all business can make that much, but I don't think the slow down will be horribly bad.)
Is it normal to make around 50,000 in say, 2 hours with a 23 tower (9 residentials). I'm currently experiencing a huge staff turnover, evicting bitizens with anything less than a 9 and 8 stat combination while keeping all the dream jobs regardless of their stat. Does anyone else have suggestions regarding to employing bitizens with good skills or dream jobs?
I don't match that too well, I keep all bitizen unless there skills are zero. The only reason I'll evict other than that is if I already filled the three dream job slots. I actually pick my next business based on what type of dream job most bitizens want
Sounds about average! I have 41 floors and make 75k an hour easy probably more so that's probably what u shuld make
Does the variety of stores make anyone else extremely happy? It not only shows the amount of work the developers put in, but it also represents that our towers are going to be awesome by the time a few weeks go by.
I love this game, but I had to delete it after I realized I was spending too much time and money on it.
the withdraw will begin soon It starts with seeing everything in 8-bits, then moves onto the urge to place people in jobs, then ends with living in elevators and pushing the button for the floors that people want to go to.
