Gamecenter bug? Please add a Gamecenter re-sync button; I've played few hours in a no- wifi area and now I'm completely out of sync with Gamecenter (and friends button)...anyone with the same problem? Emanuele Kabu
You do not need IAP in Nimblebit's freemium games, just keep repeating that until you actually believe it I have played Pocket Frogs for 9 months, never spent a dime on it - it is one of the best free games I've ever had on my device. Even the premium IAP only features in that game are merely subtle advantages for those who want to pay (e.g. the ability to move eggs out of the nursery or a faster mailbox) but don't actually let you accomplish anything you can't do just by putting a little more time into the game. Seeing precisely the same pattern here, I went ahead and bought the $5 100 bux package for Tiny Tower simply because these guys deserve something after giving me an app I've used on and off for several months. I knew I didn't need to and, more importantly, knew if I didn't spring while the game was new to me, I would soon have so much stuff I would have a harder time motivating myself to spring for anything as paltry as towerbux Here's the important part: yes, I did spend $5 on 100 towerbux, but in the time I've been playing the game, I've made close to 400 towerbux just for playing the game. My tower is now 24 floors with the max elevator. Had I not spent that $5, the only difference would be is the tower would probably be 21 floors - a negligible difference. You. Do. Not. Need. IAP.
It syncs once every four hours, this was to allow for offline play. The achievements should update unless you were not signed in
is it a good idea to frequently demolish the floors and rebuild them hoping a few dream jobs show up?
I'm having issues with the gc achievements not working i should have a few but there all just stuck saying %complete I think it's because sometimes I'm not online/signed into gc then when I'm back online the achievements aren't registering? Not sure but either way I'm not to bothered about them just thought I'd mention it anyway.
I downloaded Tiny Tower yesterday and I have recharged my iphone twice... Congrats guys! This game is adorable. I like to show my support to game devs so I purchased 100 ingame bucks. Great game! Keep up!
Best iphone game in a while, it's really addicted. I got 14 floors and love to see my tower getting bigger !

I've just downloaded the game today. The graphics look quite cute. It seems 200 is the max floors. Anyone want to get there probably will have to pay a lot
My game all of the sudden will no longer connect to gamecenter and my restock times are all at 935 days !!!! I hope they fix this. On 4th gen touch and I am connected to wifi as I am posting this from my touch. And yes I reset my device already that was no help
Before you delete the business - maybe it is too late and you did already - check out the achievements. The video store is in tandem with another store for an achievement. Unless you don't care about the achievements. But deleting a potentially easy stock and sell store because of modern day practices is silly! Remember the Bitizens are trapped in the retro world where video stores are useful!
Depending on how long you play, you'll inevitably get the video store back anyway as there are more floors than stores. I think it's a pretty cool one to have, fits the retro pixel theme.
Yeah I think it's cool too to have the places match the theme, especially since it's a game and not your real life mall you have to manage.... but anyway, is there a list someplace with all the various business? Or are you going by what is on the achievement list? Is it possible to get duplicates at the same time? Maybe then I would see the reason to get rid of one.
I was initially going by the achievements, but someone else in this topic has apparently looked at the game's files and come up with 80 businesses and 50 apartments. eeenmachine confirmed it's not possible to get duplicates.
You could do that, but it'll take a loooooong time, unless you get lucky and keep getting VIP construction crews. Luckily I haven't done so yet. I actually don't plan on doing so, either, now that I found out there is no cap on how many levels you can have.
