I know, I know. I've been telling myself for two days to get a life, gave myself what they used to call "a good talking to.". But did I listen? Not a chance. Fortunately, it's a bit difficult to play while one is on a treadmill. Look out feet, here come some extra miles!
Heh, did I just copy the wrong math from the other post? whoops Either way, it's so far outside the realm of possibility the only rational explanation is that although these people are cheating, they don't want anyone to be confused they might have done this stuff legitimately; they're honest cheaters
When you delete a store, what happens to the workers? I have a Video Rental store I want to get rid of because, well, who uses video rental stores these days??
OK, WTF? You're deleting a store based on real life trends??? I personally find the store to be quite a pleasant one to manage (and keep me occupied) due to varied restock times and stock amounts. Anyway, deleting it will just give you an empty floor and unemployed workers (still the same ones). Feel free to do so.
Sigh, I guess I'm done with this "game." I put game in quotation marks because it's really more of a chore simulator. It's way too Pavlovian. Your reward for completing your chores is simply more of the same chores. I really wanted to like this game. The graphic style is great and was clearly made with a lot of love. BitBook is a cute and whimsical idea. There just isn't enough strategy, variety, gameplay, or progression to justify going forward.
Well seeing how the point of these games are to create things the way you want them to be, I don't understand why you're surprised. I want mine realistic- I already intend on moving around all my floors when I have enough tower bux to do so. Play the way you want to play and I'll play the way I want to play. Anyway, thanks for the information! Another question- when opening up another business on this floor, will it cost money? If so, is the cost based on the current cost or the previous cost (cause prices increase for new floors the more you have) It sounds like you actually treated this like a real game and spent a lot of time on it. By doing that, you brought on the boredom. This game isn't about sitting still for hours ferrying people on an elevator. Honestly, nobody would find this game fun if you just sent people to their floors. This is one of those games where you check every once in a while for a minute or two, and then leave and check back later.
I don't know if this is a game but more of a time management app with IAP. wit that said it is a great Time management App with IAP
Yeah, I see what you're saying. My issue is just that you don't have enough options. It's very straightforward. I still think that it's probably the finest example of it's genre, but the genre is pretty lifeless. I guess I just kind of ran into a point where I realized that, yeah, I could add another level, but that's just three more buttons to endlessly push. I'll keep up with developments, as there may be some more interesting stuff deeper into the game. For now, I have books to read, Jameson to drink, etc. etc.
Another bug found: I had a new Bitizen who moved in and I checked his stats to see where I'd put him. His stats were pretty bad so I was going to evict him right away, so I went back to the menu and pressed the Evict button. I'm not sure if I pressed it or not, but nothing happened and I realized his dream job changed. I went back and looked at his stats, and they were completely different. I saw I could use him in my Barber Shop to I put him there. Also, question still remains: When deleting a business and creating a new one, does that cost money? If so, how much does it cost- the current value (the price to make a new floor that's posted on the top of the building) or the old value (the price it was to originally create that specific floor)?
If it costs money the price is negligible. I made a business and deleted it quickly cause I was hoping for another (got pottery instead of game studio) I deleted it, built the same type of level, and hurried it but I got Pottery again I spent almost all my money to build that floor so it definitely doesn't cost that amount again... unless there is a bug that allowed me to do it since my funds were so low
Twice I've gotten a bitizen with all 7s, each time, in an apt on the 7th floor. Coincidence? Perhaps I should move an apt to floor 9.
So I finally racked up 50 towerbux to buy 100,000 coins but now im not sure if i want to. I have 10 floors and there starting to get expensive but im also racking up a lot fo cash to pay for them so getting more coins isnt hard for me at all but with the extra coins i could buy a couple extra floors. On the other hand, i could get some tower bux and get the $75 elevator. Which would be more useful in the long run?
I cashed in my first 50 for 100k coins, and am at floor 16 now and have fully upgraded my elevator. I say the big boost in floors is worth holding off the elevator just a bit. However I do use the elevator a lot, so I got a lot of extra bitbux that way so if you dont have the extra time to spend raking in the bux, maybe go for the elevator.
Interesting. I'll give it a try! Hopefully what you said stands true, because I don't want some random empty floor in the middle of my tower!
I have the 125 towerbux elevator, and its pretty irritating to use, because its so fast, its hard to stop on the right floor. Getting to the 2nd floor always takes just a small touch and i end up on the 3rd floor. But the 75 bux elevator is nice. not too fast.
Has anyone got a spreadsheet of all the businesses, their items, amount, and restock times listed? I started one...but read somewhere you can look in the app code and just see it all somehow. I am not a developer and have no idea how to look in the code... But (the way I am playing) it would be helpful/fun to have a database with all of this info - if nothing else to see all the thought that went into creating this.
You honestly don't need the elevator upgrade just yet. When you've got 100 floors, even the fastest elevator will be slower than what you have now.
The game was not meant to be played on two devices, it only backs the game up once every 4 hours, until iCloud comes out and get implemented it is better just to stick to one device. (if it get implemented with iCloud)
