I got 15 people in the tower but the achievement still says 93% - has this been a problem? Or have to wait for the next time I build a residential floor for this to trigger? It's the only achievement I am close to - would have been nice for it to register!
First of all, I just wanted to add that I really like this game. I've been playing Pocket Frogs for months now and I am still doing the weekly tasks and requests. Aside from that I'm pretty much done with the game because I do not have the patience and motivation to breed all the different frogs. Tiny Tower fills that gap very well. I admire the level of customization this game has. That makes it a bit more personal than Pocket Frogs. And I like some the ideas people have been posting here. There is great potential for additional content in Tiny Tower. I hope some of that (or some other stuff) sees the light of day. One thing I just noticed: Do your employees gom home at some time? I hadn't noticed yesterday, but now some of my bitizens are in their apartments and not at their stores. They still are listed in the stores and I can order the full set of items. So that's no problem, but I'm curious whether this is intentional or not. Aside from that, here's my wishlist for updates: -More interaction on Bitbook -Some "special jobs" which could work like this: Bitizens with normal stats, but no dream job in the usual stores. They could rather be something like receptionist security, elevator guy, delivery guy (some of which have been mentioned before) and give special bonuses like extra tips in the elevator, a slightly bigger chance of VIPs appearing and stuff like that. But they would still be living in the tower. -If the "people going home thing" is intentional, it's great. They could work in shifts and do something at home afterwards (just for a graphical gimmick, not game content). -Underground places (yeah, like SimTower, I know) would be awesome. Maybe as some kind of reward every ten levels, and you could choose between some specific shops or bars or parking lots or something like that. But I don't want come across as too demanding or anything. I really like this little game and these were just the ideas that I had while playing. So thank you NimbleBit and feel free to add me in CameCenter: Indiii (yes that's three "i"s)
*Confirming this solution works... I would've done the same thing to support the devs. Wouldn't spend for other freemiums. Hopefully the freemium market will shift in this direction where all game contents can be unlocked without IAP or ridiculous IAP pricing. That being said, I've encountered a great scruple which is stopping me from buying the IAP: $5.99 AUS for 100 bux or $36.99 for 1000. The math obviously leans heavily in favor to the more expensive one... Can we plz have something in between? $12.99 for something would be nice...
She just had a second box of kittens delivered, some people get all the luck! I've only seen one go AWOL, it might be a bug?
Interesting. Part of why PF has survived nearly 9 months on my device is that most tasks take just a few minutes to set up and then you get to wait 1-2 days for them to finish. Tiny Tower has that "just one more turn" aspect that makes it much harder to walk away from for me. I notice I've got some product finishing in under 2 minutes, so I'm mucking about there, but then there's another product ready in a minute when that one comes due, and then I notice this store just ran out of a product, and then I get a VIP that gets me that much closer to building another floor and then... As you note, it was an update to the game, but I'm not sure why the same devs would think the TT people wouldn't want to start out with partial buy outs. In other news, I need some sort of a history log. Somehow in the midst of trying to play TT with one hand while grocery shopping and wrangling my two kids I evicted someone accidentally. Didn't even notice until I was home and sitting down, have no idea who I booted but evidently it was someone unemployed at least. Would love to know who I kicked out and if I should care or not
I have had a few missing during 'Wheres Waldo' quests. I dont think they are gone at all, just off screen (to the right side of the screen i occasionally seen bitizens wander back on screen from the right. For all I know there is a 24/7 party going on in every store that we just cant see. Or, could just be the toilets.
OMG! Almost 3MM for a new floor! lol. Btw, this isn't me. Just a GC friend I added by looking at the all-time high leaderboards so I can take a peek at how they setup their floors and the types of buildings there will be. You can add me on GC: SilverDragon
Oh I know where the AWOL one is, she is chilling out in her apartment rather than working at the Toy Store like she is supposed to be. It still says she is employed there and she still counts for restocking purposes etc. I think there must be one of those parties going on in the construction floors, I can't see why else they would be so popular with the visitors.
Ummm..it's not me.. just a GC friend I added from looking at the all-time leaderboards so I can see who has the highest tower and how their tower looks like.
Agreed! Dear developers: I accidentally purchased 5 million bit bux. I realize you are not obligated here, but do you figure you would refund me even half of them? That would be super thanks.
His tower is valid. I can browse each level and there are a few others who have over 100 levels. I played almost non-stop since it was released in the US and just got to almost 21 levels. I'm assuming he just spent a whole load of cash (Hey.. maybe he's really rich... who knows). If you have enough bucks you can speed build through everything.
