This happens to me from time to time. I close the program completely from the multitask bar. Next I restart the game and wait for the coin pop up (do NOT press the button). Then I close the program and open it again from the multitask bar, wait a few seconds and then click the button. Seems to work every time. Let me know if it works for you too.
I agree. It would be a bigger incentive if they reduced the stocking time as opposed to decreasing its cost - or maybe giving the option of either/or.
Sorry if this has been asked but what's the benefit of having a friends list? No trading, gift is there?
I really wish to be able to play this game is there a workaround for the crash that happens every-time i start up the game and click continue and it crashes again?!
I think I read somewhere to sign out of game center. Could also be related to language (or regional settings)
Thanks for this information, but when you post spoilers, can you please use the spoilers tags, as i've added above. There's a black and white icon for this in the toolbar when you're writing a message. This lets us choose whether to read it. Ta.
So - what's up with multiple devices. I have been playing on my iPad and then decided to start a new tower on my iPod. When I loaded it onto my iPod...it found my "saved" tower (from GC I guess) and loaded it. It was a few floors before the one on my iPad. But since i had bought the $5 package...it did have those extra bux attached still. Here's the rub - I really do want to start from scratch on the iPod. So...if I delete my tower on the iPod will it impact my iPad version? I don't want that to happen...
The game doesn't support cross device playing well, they made it with offline play in mind. The game only backs your tower up once every 4 hours. Best practice is pick one device and stick to it. (This might change with cloud syncing on iOS 5, but nothing official has been said)
I think you can start from scratch on the iPod, and your online backup save will only store the game with the most progress. If it asks you to restore your save on the game with less progress, decline, otherwise it'll overwrite it.
I think you'll need to create a second Game Center account if you want to start a second tower on another device. A little annoying, but it will work.
So because of your own lack of gameplay ethics, you're forfeiting the will to play the game any further? Nice. I just made 30,000 gold overnight by taking 5 minutes and spending probably 6-7 'Bux' re-stocking all my stores to Level 3 before I slept - that too, in a tower with only 13 total floors (4-5 of which are apartments). Woke up to a smooth 33,000 coins. I don't need to use your method to make extra money and if you played it the right way, perhaps you wouldn't need to either. The date-rollback cheat is a lot more effective than this but, because of my self-control, refuse to use it and hence spoil the experience (and whole POINT) of the game. I'm sorry you can't control yourself though - it's a great game IMO.
