    Can't believe how addicted I am to the game. I've hated freemium time management games for as long as they've been around really on the iOS. It all started back then with games like iMafia, etc., then moved on to ones where you build your property/farm, and they were all complete crap in my opinion. Also, I wasn't at all interested in Pocket Frogs. However, I drained my entire battery today at work playing Tiny Towers; as in, I went to work with a full charge, and left work with a dead iPod. Can't say I'll be buying any iAPs though. There's really no point considering I got 55 bux today by just playing normally. That also defeats the purpose in playing. Anyways, everything in this game is just done so damn right. Loving it. Girlfriend is probably loving it even more.

    Definitely loving it. Perfect entertainment during boring conference calls. I definitely bought some bux... $5 is fair for this fun game...I've spent the same on other games I've abandoned after 5 mins.

    The two features I'm missing...
    1) The ability to buy down construction time PARTIALLy with bux (instead of having to spend a chunk of bux to buy down the entire time.) The did this with pocketfrogs...hope a similar feature will be added here.
    2) It would be nice to be able to see how much stock you have of your products while you're restocking another. Unless I'm missing it...all I get to see is that my Buffalo Wings are being restocked and will take another 30 mins. But I can't see how much Root Beer I still have left. For whatever reason, I'd like to be able to see that.

    Anyone else want to be able to customize the elevator too? :)

    Oh man, we think alike. I've seen games where 0 = 10, but I'm guessing that's not the case for Tiny Tower. I was also wondering if 9/9/9/9/9 character is possible, or if they cap the total stats. I know it doesn't really matter since you'd just have them working 1 job, but it'd look pretty.

    13 floors. I was able to get the 50 or so towerbux without paying and made some more beforehand, too. Everyone should follow Nimblebit's standard. I'm probably going to buy some to support them, anyways.

    Devs provide this stuff for fun, but if you've been having fun with the game, there's no better way to say "thank you" than purchasing something in game. It's a thank you that you can get something from too. :)

    I'm up to 13 floors now and I seem to struggle getting new tenants. I have at least one full residence open at about floor 9 I think, but no one is going there :(

    Any tips? Should I just be more patient? Lower the residences? Does that help? I seemed to have more people earlier on. I also have about 4 floors under construction.

    By the by, LOVE this game. Put a 5er into it because just how impressed I am with nimblebit.

    I don't know this, but please tell me there is a confirmation before spending bux? Please? If not, that is a must do. No more ngmoco bs here please!

    First underground thing should be a museum. After all, when you build it, you DO find a dinosaur skeleton...

    The more floors you have the more choices bitizens have of where to go. Around 30+ floors it is almost a necessity to use bux to get people to move in in.

    Thinking the long term strategy is going to be a fair amount of tower unemployment so you can afford, figuratively and literally, to allow for migration at its own pace and still have an employee pool large enough to pick from for matching employee to business.

    With no guarantee what sort of resident you get for that towerbux, spending just to get a renter is only going to be but so practical if you're aiming for maximizing production and profits.

    I know that you can have a surplus of bitizens waiting for employment yes. but from around the time that I have played this game (which has been a while, beta tested it) I found to keep a nice pace that is what I did.

    Also around the 30 floor mark tower bux aren't worth trading in anymore since you make sooo much money from the shops.

    You can also employ people that don't have much skill in the shop just to pump out stock, so I don't see a need for a surplus in bitizens

    Technically, yes, but the anal retentive part of my brain doesn't want me to do that ;)

    Yes, in all likelihood past a certain point it will be like Pocket Frogs - you make far more money than you can realistically spend, so worrying about whether you have a 0% or 27% discount on your stock will be a waste of energy. That still won't necessarily stop me from doing it :p

    Since you mentioned beta testing, is there a terminal elevator upgrade? I've already upgraded twice, but wondering how far the upgrade chain goes.

    Here is a bit of a snip of the way I figure out what to build next

    2
    12house = 5
    7
    13job -3
    4
    14job -3
    1
    15house = 5
    6
    16job - 3
    3
    17job - 3
    0
    18house = 5
    5
    19job -3
    2
    20 house = 5
    7
    21 job -3
    4
    22 job - 3
    1

    where the number on the left is number of bitizens that don't have a chance to get a job

    How many people do you have doing their dream jobs? I currently have 4. It's fun to evict and bring in new people.
