Place people in their dream job whenever possible. Ferry people up and down the elevator when you have nothing to do. Fully restock always, as there's a chance of getting a Bux for doing so. Finally, do the blue event as soon as it pops up to ensure minimum time until the next one. Before you know it, 50 Bux is yours. EDIT: Also, if you want to keep a fair amount of Bux, make sure after buying more coins or an elevator upgrade that you have a certain amount left over, such as 20 (my amount). That's why I had 70 and 45 when I bought the 100k coins and elevator upgrade respectively.

Where's Waldo-minigame tip What I do when I hire someone in different jobs I give them shirts colored matching the type of work they're doing. (Food=Green shirt, Recreational=Light yellow/skin colored) That way, when I need to look for a person, you can just click on the floors themselves with the color needed. If the person is not in any of the work floors, just click the residential floors. At first I thought you had to click on the sprite of the person, but you only have to click on the floor they're at. I know this helped me a lot!

I got the game when it hit the NZ store so I've probably had more time I think some people have already hit 20 floors or even higher... but I suspect they may have either cheated or purchased IAP. My mom today has not been able to connect to the Bux store...she says she keeps getting the "Bux server is currently unavailable" all day long. I've been able to access it for as long as she's had this problem.
So who said this game is backed up locally too? I tried using AppBackup2.0, created a save, and then restored it. It seems like it has absolutely no effect. If I disconnect from GC, will I have different results? e.g. is the save only saved locally when no internet is available? I really want to be able to build a building and then restore if it isn't the building I want.
Congratulations, NimbleBit! Very addicting game. My fiancé will gonna love this as well. Few questions 1. If I reset my game, will it be able to return the bux I earned or atleast the bux I purchased from inapp? 2. What is that 0,0,0,0 Bitizen? Is that really a 0 or a 10? I havent really tried it on shops though 3. How do we know which store item the Big Spender VIP will purchase? 4. Is there a 3rd or 4th upgrade on the elevator? How much? The price for the second upgrade is a little steep. Suggestions: 1. Sorting and/or filtering capabilities on Bitizen list, it helps to know which folks have certain dreams or job status especially when you alread have a dozen or more levels 2. Faster animation of elevators when it tries to settle on the floor. 3. Room decor upgrade, not just paint. One problem I've encountered but I'm not bothered about is the gc achievements not working, I've got 15 biztizens but no achievement? Not sure about others yet but still should have appeared earlier today.
This game is extremely addictive, I am frequnetly opening it at work to keep things running, and I love watching my toy store thrive. I did get one large crashing issue that went away on its own (???). At one point, when I tried to return to my game after putting it in sleep, there was a coins earned notification, an elevator notification, a "item is stocked and ready" notification, and that one of my stores had run out of products entirely. The game kept crashing immediately upon trying to get it started, and even powering down my ipod 4g and restarting it it still kept crashing. Then, at some point, it just stopped doing that, I think after clicking away one of the notifications. Just a heads up for the developers, thanks for an awesome game!
Damn. That really really really sucks. At least you could set that as an option. It's what killed pocket frogs for me. At least allow you the ability to sync and then pull the data down. Now I'm stuck on my phone because I don't want to redo it. Please rethink this. I get the joy of offline mode and that it's great for us, but this makes it really tough for those who want to go between devices. Maybe dropbox syncing?
