Some new floors would be nice as well (for those of us who already have empty floors and the building VIPs ready for them).
Anyone else having weird things happen with the Christmas update that just went live? My wife updated her (fully completed) tower and all sorts of crazy stuff happened, including: - several floors are now listed as "Empty Floor" - there appears to be no pattern to what these floors are - all I could verify off-hand was that the circus was missing, but it appeared to be a mix of shops and apartments - For the bitizens that were employed at retail floors that are now 'empty floor', their status is "employed at Empty Floor", and their dream jobs are now "(NULL)" - When clicking on an Empty Floor to build a new floor, the missing floors are not available to build Now, she hasn't logged in in a couple months since she finished TT, but the tower was fine last she checked. Is it the update? Is it just something weird? Any other experiences appreciated.
Same problem here, so it's definitely a bug in the update. My guess is that the version of the Christmas update they submitted is the one from last year, before they added some new floors. I can only hope an update comes out soon to fix this soon, and that I don't lose the floors forever. That would suck.
I have the same problem. I think Words of Ivory is right, that it's just the new floors that are missing.

Yeah empty floors everywhere now,glad they are fixing it though. New floors would be nice though I've got over 200 floors so the top 20 or so are empty anyway Back to tiny Death Star till then
Sure wish they would only add themes and not take them away. Then allow us to pick the theme we want through a menu option. That way if We want the Christmas theme before Thanksgiving or want to not see the Valentine theme at all, then we could.
I thought it was just me with missing floors and bitizens. Came here to see it is fairly common. I lost a bunch of floors, both apartments and shops. Good to see its gonna be fixed.
My wife installed the new update... it only halfway fixed the problem. Now the bitizens have their dream jobs back and the floors can be rebuilt (see one screenshot), but the missing floors are all still "empty floors" that she can't do anything with because they're still stocking. You can see in the other screenshot her Plumber and Robot Store (should be obvious from the costumes). The Circus is another one that's messed up. Not sure when these floors came into existence.
The same thing happened to me when I updated from 2.2.3 to 2.2.4. At this point, I gave up because it seems like Nimblebit has no idea how to fix the problem they created (gee, maybe review your updates before releasing them and this would have never happened. I'm almost 100% sure that they just released the old Christmas update from last year without adding any of the new floors that were added this year). I ended up deleting the Tiny Tower app and downloading it from the iCloud. Thankfully, it backed up to the older version of TT (2.2.2) where all of my floors still existed. I then tried updating it directly to 2.2.4 from 2.2.2 but ended up with the same empty floor problem. I guess this means no Christmas theme for me, but to be honest, I think I'd prefer having all of my floors instead.
Dear Nimblebit, This is one hell of a way to get people to stop playing this game (if you had built the floors lost in yesterday's upgrade, you now have to rebuild them). If I had messed up this badly at work, I'd be fired and wouldn't be allowed to claim Jobseekers Allowance, as losing my job would have been my fault. Thank you, Becky.
