It was promptly fixed and submitted that night, I believe. This game is free, the devs only make money when people decide to donate to them by buying bux. Be happy you didn't have to pay for it and don't whine.
Sorry it came over as a "whine" it was a knee jerk reaction to disappointment. And I know it's free, but I have actually added coins at the beginning to upgrade the elevator, and regularly add to these free games to enhance them. But, I realise that's my choice. Thanks for the fix, although, I still think I'll stay away from other towers for the time being
Whining from another user: I know this is insignificant but I feel the newly added stars don't fit the game at all. to me they take away the beauty of the 8 bit theme. They also cover the elevator wires and disappear when you give people a lift. (I can get OCD about things). I wish it would fit more of the games 8 bit style.
A surprise awesome mission! How adorable! (surprise because I thought they were coming at midnight or thereabouts) To the above "whiners" - change is change. To some it is good, to others it is not. But it is always great to see a developer adding to and making tweaks to an "old" game. Makes you trust them no? Makes you look forward to their next title no? Stars - people wanted a way to distinguish how many dream jobbers they had on a floor without clicking through to the floor - I was one of them. To me this came a little too late (I already have all dream jobbers by the time this came) but I appreciate the dedication. Maybe it doesn't look as great as something else might have but it IS a solution. I. honestly. never saw. the elevator wires.
Any chance the next update can have a button in settings to turn the stars off? I have 3 stars in all but the newest floors and they make the screen look too busy unnecessarily in my opinion.
Well, even after the update I'm still experiencing crashing whenever I visit friends. But oh well. My question is: Is there any way to implement an alphabet list on the side of the screen, so I can scroll to a particular floor easier? Similar to what's done in iTunes? Also, how many of each store is there? Gracias!
my wife took over my phone continuing my turn in this game. we both have jailbroken phones. any tutorials on getting my save file and game over to her phone? PLEASE!!!!
Would it be possible to reverse them? Like 3 stars means you NEED 3 dream jobers. This way when you have all dream jobbers, you don't need to see the stars. I prefer not to see them, but it's not really a big deal. Mostly just a suggestion to see what others think.
Still loving it 140 odd floors in. I would like to turn the Elevator and Find Wally things off though, I find I just don't need 'em. Great update
Yeah, it would be great if we had the option to turn off the Where's Waldo minigame and the elevator stars. They're really obnoxious for me since I have 140+ floors.
Any chance we can someday see a listing of how many people we've taken in the elevator, in the stats page? Maybe give us bux for lifting X amount of people? Maybe the same with finding people, idk.
How about adding in a more sure fire way to get useful bitizens? What if there was an option to pay more bux when you move in bitizens to get a better one? Paying 1 bux still gives you the luck of the draw, but if you're sick of that you could choose to pay a higher sum in order to get a bitizen with level 9 skills in a dream job I need. I for one would gladly pay an exorbitant amount of bux if I was guaranteed not to get a rubbish bitizen. Even if it's as expensive as elevator upgrades, at least it's an option if you only need a few dream jobs left and you're sick of leaving it to chance. Alternatively, the real estate agent could give you the option of moving in one super bitizen instead of filling all spots on a floor.
@Shloogorgh I was thinking of something similar to what you said. Instead, I was thinking that once you've filled three level 9 skill bitizens, you won't get bitizens in an already filled business. For example, I've filled my bookstore with all level 9 bitizens in which their dream job is the bookstore. When I'm filling my apartments, I get bitizens that I've got no use for.
I think you should be able to "level up" your bitizens. For everyone tower bux you spend, the DJ's skill increases by 1 until it's 9. It would be awesome if it could go beyond 9. In addition, I really wish you could re-name bitizens. You can already rename floors, so why not?
The actual star icons dont fit into the great retro style, so in my opinion it would be great if they could be turned off or could get inverted for not having dreamjobbers.
Does anyone else's heart sink whenever their VIP turns out to be the celebrity? The joy of having a VIP just evaporates instantly. She's so worthless.
How often does it make a back up of your tower? I am playing on the ipad, and if I want to transfer it to my iphone (and maybe back) do I just open the app and recover my tower and just not play on the other device?
