Here is my strategy to maximize your sales per minute, and keep in mind the strategy only works depending on how much you check into Tiny Tower to restock your shelves. I play a lot, maybe check into the app every 3-4 hours on my iphone so this strategy works best for me. Also keep in mind I have a full tower, with all stores employed with lvl 9 bitizens in their respected dream jobs.

Every morning I buy the most expensive item from all of my shops. Always get the 3rd item, or get the 2nd one if available. If the 1st item takes a long time (3 or 4 hours +), then I'll get it too. But I won't buy any of the first items throughout the day because they only bring in $1 per customer, where as you want $3 per customer as they come in. You only get the $2 item because when the $3 item is all sold out, you want something to be active and being sold at all times in every one of your stores. So throughout the day, my whole tower is selling at 2 or $3 per customer. I find this maximizes my sales per minute to around 1800, sometimes even topping 1900 on my full tower.

Now before I go to sleep, I'll stock my $1 items because that's usually when the 2 or $3 items go empty is when I'm sleeping and won't restock until morning time. Remember, you always want to make sure there is something being sold, most preferably the $3 item. I find that the rate at which bitizens come in are at a constant rate in proportion to the number of floors you have. So that means a store stocked with only the $3 item will sell more per minute than a store that has all three items stocked. The only thing is that when the $3 item is sold out, you are not making any money during that time, and it takes the longest to restock and then you lose money if there's nothing stocked in that store. It takes a little time management and mathematical reasoning to understand this strategy to maximize the sales per minute, but that only shows how intelligent this game is designed.

Was my post asking about the crashing issue nonsense? Is this like that episode of South Park when everyone was ignoring Cartman?

Can someone please tell me if my issue is pandemic. Or is it just me?

Once more, my issue is whenever I go to visit friends my game crashes and everything I've done up to that point, including any money I've made, disappears.

Is my progress saved to the cloud if I choose to delete and reinstall? Thanks.

I just deleted and restored my save. This must be a bug. Everytime I go to visit a tower the game crashes.

Probably just me. Too bad my save file is probably corrupt. No idea. Just gotta stop trying to visit other towers.

Haven't encountered such a thing. Maybe you should try contacting the dev. I'm running the game on a 4th gen iPod touch with iOS 5.0.1 and have never had any issues with Tiny Tower.

WOW! An actual response! Thanks for that. Hmm, it's never happened before the update. No idea what's wrong. Hopefully the next update fixes it. Just gotta stop visiting friends.

I just can't get back into this game, even with the update. It feels stale now and the offer of 10 bux to do a quest just doesn't tempt me enough.

Something completely new and fresh would have to be implemented to get me back, I'm surprised I spent so much money on this game when it first came out....weird

Well, not being able to visit friends' towers really stinks; kind of the point (or at least one of them) of the new update. I'd say just contact Nimblebit: they're really good and friendly. You may not be the only person that's experienced what you're talking about; just the first to say something about it perhaps.

The only reason for crashing on a neighbor that I know of was fixed a few updates ago.

How many friends do you have?
Does it crash on the neighbor select screen or when you actually click on a tower?

I don't think so, but there will be new missions every week. The update fixing the missions bug is still awaiting review.

Whenever I click on FRIENDS it'll actually switch over to the tower screen, then it crashes and I've lost all my progress.

    Thanks for the response, though.:)

    I have around 15 friends, i think.

So at no point do you see the screen with all the little towers lined up?

Each week will new missions add to the existing ones or uncompleted ones vanish?

No because I only have tier 2 or tier 3 stocked at a time to maximize sales. Because of this, I have the 'stock' buttons all along the bottom row with the red lift button well off the screen somewhere. Very annoying!!

Actually went back to this game on my iPad after playing initially when released on my iPhone. This game screams out for iCloud support.

I hope I'm posting this in right spot : Any chance a future update might include the option of moving bitizens from one apartment to another, either by coins or Tower Bux? It would be great for trying to organize residents by job and add another element to the game. Love the latest update!

I have 110 floors. If I am trying to get new floors quickly, is it better to use towerbux to speed the construction of floors or use them to upgrade the levels of existing floors? Or is there a better strategy? Thanks.

No plans for adding that feature at the moment.
