Yikes! I already have brand new twin daughters, I don't need any more! I would also like to see the BB more interactive. Even though it has no real function, I still am compelled to read what my crazy bitizens are up to. Anyone else have an affinity for a particular bitizen? Me and Edgar Sullivan go way back to day 1, and although I don't have his dream job yet, I can't seem to evict him. Come on Sky Burger!
@doobiedoo73 I have an affinity for a certain "Minnie Wood." Every time her name comes up I have a hearty, immature chuckle.
Agreed! It's refreshing to read their quirky comments while waiting for your stuffs to restock / your lift to come down from the highest level =.= Overall, this game is already very fun and addictive though!
I pretty much agree with everything you said. Still saving up for the last elevator, but I'll definitely buy some bux to get it faster. 98 floor - 11 food - 11 service - 11 recreation - 11 retail - 12 creative - 40 residential and SPM about 1000 Really love the game feel free to add me on GC: cyrilio
I just got the last elevator and that thing is amazingly fast and stops on a dime. It was worth those 499 bux.
Same here. Despite being generally awesome this lift is probably going to leave a few bitizens with serious gravity related health issues.
I logged into my tower today (for about the 7th time... not even 8am yet lol) and was checking out the costumes... are they now free? I've never bought one before. When I pulled up the list there were no prices next to each costume, so I selected one and no bux were deducted. Did I miss something? Or is this a lovely little glitch for me to enjoy until it's fixed? I can't get enough of this game btw. Kudos to the creators! Although I have the same sound issue that many others are having... and it's an issue in Pocket Frogs as well. Hope to see that addressed in the future!
Strategery I have decided that the order I build floors in from best to worst is Service > Retail > Creative > Recreational > Food. This is due partly to restock times and partly to the random spread of businesses I've developed over time. I have been building in that order from the beginning but now I'm curious about reversing it. If I started with the least desirable (Food) and went from, for example, 10 of all types to 10 of all types and 11 Food, Food demand goes down while all of the other more desirable types stay higher. I wouldn't be gaining the restock time benefits which I think would result in lower overall coin gain (if I can't be at the game 24/7). Not sure if it would be a noteworthy gain.
Dev, there's one thing that I think will make this game complete for me. The ability to see stock levels whilst another tier is stocking. At the moment, if there's something stocking, clicking the floor just tells you how long is left and allows you to speed it up. I think there should be another button that allows you to see how your other item(s) is selling. Would you consider this?
New bug found: Sometimes when bitizens move in, they don't show up. I get the message and all, but I don't find any new bitizens on the apartment screen. And an update to the older device crash bug, it's much better now. You know longer have to do my fancy process, you just have to start the app up twice for it to work.
yay! I finally reached floor 100!!! My current stats Fd 12 Sv 12 Rc 12 Rt 12 Cr 12 Rs 38 (plus one res in queue) 150 out of 180 Dream Jobs. I tried upgrades when they first came out and I upgraded every thing to level 2 before I knew exactly how they worked. I wish I had waited since it threw a few things off by 5 minutes. I'm currently trying to decide my next move. I plan to take my residential to 40 but beyond that I am not sure. Should I continue to build my residential and work on filling dream jobs or should I just continue business as usual? I would also love it if someone could share some upgrading tips to get business units synced up a little better for timing of checking in. I need to find a way to end this compulsion.
Had a great moment last night when one of my bitizens posted on Bitbook "If it weren't for my horse I wouldn't have spent that year in college." Much love to anyone out there who knows that reference. I do wish there were some sort of auto-stock option (or if there's one I don't know about), so I don't have to log back in just to stock an item that's ready to go on the shelves.
With the update, and the new elevator, I have some questions about the way elevator rides and VIPs are generated. First off, new ride requests seem to happen very soon after the elevator reaches the lobby -- is it the case that the number of rides per unit time are affected by the speed of the elevator? That is, do elevators that have faster round-trip times potentially generate more trips? Or are the maximum number of rides constant per unit time, regardless of the elevator? Second, what factor controls the appearance of VIPs: time, or probability per ride? That is, will one on average receive a set number of VIPs per hour, or can one get more VIPs per unit time with a faster elevator that potentially produces more rides per hour? All of this is by way of asking if getting the fancy new uber-fast elevator just makes each ride quicker, or does it actually have an impact on the generation of coins and VIPs?
I don't know the answer to your questions, however I know this: Ever since upgrading to the newest elevator, the game is more fun. Instead of dreading the use of the elevator, I eagerly await passengers.
